O'Brien 2012/13 team will consider individual try-outs for the 15u 2012/13 season. Please send an email to csampson@microsoft.com, in the email include provide a brief description of the position,prior team, and other important notes regarding the player or parent interests.

This is the online home of the 2011/12 O’Brien Auto Group 14u Baseball Club. The 14u O’Brien team is made up of players from the greater Puget Sound.The program is one of the premiere baseball clubs in Washington.

Latest News!

 6/12 - In a practice game played at Cheney Stadium, O'Brien defeated the West Hill Vipers, 8-2. The spirit of the game was about rotating the players and making sure the program soaked in the opportunity of playing on the same field many future M's play on. Our thanks to the West Hill Vipers Club for inviting us to play in the stadium. The West Hill Vipers are a terrific program and the evening was a great experience for the players, parents and coaches. Thanks again to West Hill!  

6/11 - USSSA Tournament

O'Brien wins the USSSA 14u tournament on 6/10! O'Brien defeated the PBC Braves at Mt. Tahoma HS, led by Alfonso Gonzalez pitching and timely hitting coming from Nick DeGallier, Taylor Wright and Connor McCabe.

Last season 2010/11 News

O'Brien 2011 13U Wins Triple Crown Championship - Father's Day Classic in Pasco, beating RIPS 13u for the tournament championship. Tournament participants included, PBC Born 2 Play, PS Shockers, PBC Braves, Spokane Cougars and Seattle Stars.

In the USSSA State Championship, contested Lacey,  the O'Brien 2011 13U team finsihed 2nd, defeating the West Hill Vipers twice and Auburn Red. OB lost in the championship to the Milltown Bombers.

The 14U 2011 O'Brien Team was ranked #10, in the USSSA rankings, winning the Washington State Koufax Championship, BPA Western Worlds and Triple Crown World Series Championship in Steamboat Springs Colorado.July 10, the O'Brien 14u team will be playing at the ESPN Lake Buena Vista Baseball Complex, in the  USSSA World Series.Game 1 will be streamed live at 12:30pm EST, at www.usssalive.com The current 14u team finished the 2010 season with a 71-2 record and won the 2011 Triple Crown Spring Training Championship, held in March. 

The 2011 13U OBrien team, is newly formed, with players having played Little League and Dragons / Pony League, in 2010.    

The 13U O'Brien team is participating in the Washington State Select 13U Sandy Koufax League.The head coach is Blaine Mercado. Blaine played his college baseball at Whitman College.The assistant head coach is Wes Ward. Wes played his college baseball at Central Washington. Former UW All-American and current Mount Si head baseball coach, Elliott Cribby, leads winter training. Individual instruction is led by Dan Galaz (catching, pitching and hitting) The administration and roster is managed by Chris Sampson and the O'Brien Parent Board. O'Brien Strength and Speed Training is offered by former UW Husky football player, Donny Mateaki of DM Athletic Training. The O'Brien 13U team is an invitation, try-out only program.The players, coaches and parents are "shareholders" of the club. We provide individual instruction in a team atmosphere.

Indoor baseball training begins in November, as we prepare the team for the Triple Crown Spring Training Championships in Arizona. Individual batting, pitching and catching instruction is available throughout the year at the O'Brien Training Facility in Bellevue. We finish our season in early August, after playing nearly 60 games.The Dragons and O'Brien teams are coordinated programs. The Dragon program supports ages 9-12 and O'Brien ages 13-16.
