Mark will enter his 12th season with Oakridge Football and his twenty-seventh of his career in 2010 He had previously served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Muskegon Big Reds (1989-1994) before taking a four year hiatus from football. Prior to that he was the Wide Receiver Coach at Grand Valley State University (1985-1987) and an Assistant Varsity Coach at Orchard View High School(1982-1985 & 1988). In 2001 Mark was selected as one of Varsity Assistants of the Year for Michigan High School Football Coaches. As an Assistant Mark's coaching record is 201-56 and 106-23 since he has been at Oakridge. Mark's duties for 2010 include Offensive Coordinator and Secondary coach.
Mark has been married to his wife Julie for 16 years. They have two children, Jordyn (14) and Jacob (10).
