Please come out and support us on Monday, May 14 at the Colonial Hotel on Betty Springs Rd in Gardner MA from 2-7pm.

The Red Cross will help bring awareness to those like my son Jimmy Concannon Jr of Ashburnham ,MA.who require products from donated blood.

Every 21 days, Jimmy receives an IV infusion of a blood product . This medication is derived from those who so generously give blood.

This disease, called Common Variable Immune Deficiency with unspecified Hypo-gammaglobulin anemia is also know as "the Bubble Boy Disease'. A mouthful when spoken, but those with this disease have no magic bubble in which to live. A simple virus can be complicated by this disease leading to infection that can become deadly.

For those of you who can take the time to donate blood,or help spread the word our heartfelt thanks go out to each and every one of you.

This year, many OYBL officials donated their games to Officials vs. Cancer. Lou Levine was instrumental in bringing this program to the OYBL and officiated a number of games for free in order to donate his earnings to this cause. Many other officials in our league did the same thing.
