We hope you will find this website fun and a useful tool for our upcoming 2008 season. 

Several Years ago, our Pee Wee Squad got a chance to play at Giants stadium during halftime.  What a great experience for all! 

 --MOST RECENT Pee Wee INFORMATION--

7/26/08 - ONE WEEK TO GO BEFORE EQUIPMENT FITTING/HANDOUT! - Start your engines, I hope you're ready for a fun and exciting football season.  You should have received the playbook via email.  If you did not, please send me an email stating such. 

7/26/08 - DOCUMENTS, DOCUMENTS, DOCUMENTS....... At the equipment fitting, we will have a list that details everyone who we need specific documents from, ie 2 wallet sized pictures and/or copy of birth certificate.  If you know you did not provide these at the signups, please bring it with you to equipment handout and you can cross your name off the list.  Our league requires these documents for anyone to participate in the league.

7/26/08 - Parent Volunteers - We need several parent volunteers for the 3rd/4th grade "NFL Style" Pee Wee Football Combines on August 9th.  If your available to help out, please send me an email at coachjmb@verizon.net .

7/26/08 - Practice for all 1st and 2nd grade players will begin on Tuesday, August 12 at 615pm.  More details to follow....

 7/26/08 - We still have openings for the punt pass and kick, get your brothers, sisters and friends to participate.  Remember that you dont have to be a football player to participate. 

7/23/08 - Parents meeting is set for August 18th at 6pm in or outside of the Danny Delia Building.  This is for ALL pee wee parents. 

7/19/08 - If you can't make the equipment fitting on August 2, we will be available on Monday August 4, 6pm at the equipment shed.  Just let me know if you can't make the 2nd.  If your not going to be around for the 2nd or 4th, we can always fit you when you come back from vacation.  Please remember that the first two weeks, from Aug. 9th to around August 23, are very crazy in the equipment shed and it will take much longer 

Almost every practice, we schedule a fun activity for the players.  Especially during the first two weeks of practice, we hand out ice pops and/or candy to the players at the end of practice.  We do this as a reward for the players hard work.  Anyone can play other sports but it takes a special type of person to play football.

          Ultimate Football

          Hut, Hut, Tackle

          Football Snakes

          Water Balloon Madness

 Let's have some fun with Oaklands first Punt, Pass and Kick event.  Your skill level doesn't matter, just get some friends together and come down for some fun.  It's free!  All you have to do is register below and participate on Aug. 2.  All Oakland boys and girls going into the 2^nd, 3^rd, or 4^th grades are encouraged to participate in this fun event held by Oakland Braves Pee Wee Football.   

Open to ALL 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th grade boys and girls 

Where: Oakland Recreation Complex – Field 7, by Danny Delia Building 
 

When:             August 2, 2008    Time:              11:30 am 

Registration:  Scroll down to Register Online.  You MUST register online to participate in the competition.  Limit to the first 100 children.

 Absolutely, no walk in registrations will be accepted. 

Prizes:            1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place trophies for each grade

FREE PUNT,PASS, & KICK T-SHIRTS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS

Our football equipment fitting and handouts will be on Saturday August 2nd from 9am to 11am.  See below for fitting times:

4th Grade Players - 8:50am - 9:40am

3rd Grade Players - 9:45am - 10:20am

1st/2nd Grade Players - 10:25am - 11:00am

All 4th Grade Players will get their Offensive and Defensive Playbook at this time.

There will be handouts and other parent information on the tables for you to pick up.

NFL Pee Wee Jersey Day

Each year we will have a couple of practices where each player will wear their favorite NFL replica jersey to practice.  We will have various drills during the practice which will put the AFC jersey players vs. the NFC jersey players.  We typically end those practices with a little game between the AFC and NFC.  It really a lot of fun for the players.

PS.  Any Steelers fan players get to choose their position. lol

What Do Football and Snow Have In Common?? A Pee Wee Blizzard Game!

If the weather is bad, rain or snow, you can guarantee that our Pee Wees will be out there having a blast.  Since we play regular games in all types of weather (unlike any other sport), we will practice in those types of weather when we get a chance.

I always remind the parents to keep an old blanket in the car, so they can put it down to cover the car seats because your son WILL GET EXTREMELY MUDDY!  WE RUN SPECIFIC DRILLS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN. LOL   PS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.......
