Mandatory Parent Meeting August 5th or 6th 2009
Our Parent Representatives, Mollie Brodt and Lori Campbell, would like you to know there is a "Mandatory" parent meeting you MUST attend, or your child will not be able to play in the OHYFL. The dates are August 5th and 6th at 6pm (at Fort Nugent). You will be signing a paper stating you have read and will abide by our codes of conduct. All of these documents can be found on our website on the HANDOUTS page. You can download and print them as well. You only need to attend one meeting. Please meet Mollie and Lori at the flagpole at Fort Nugent. Your players will review the Player's Code of Conduct during practice and will be asked to sign a similar document. Noncompliance of aforementioned codes by any player, parent, spectator, coach, or other volunteer is grounds for expulsion from the league. Let's make this a great season for the players! Our motto...

2009 Teams!!!
Draft Camp is over and another fantastic season is underway! Coaches should be calling players to advise them of practice days and times beginning Monday August 3, 2009 at Fort Nugent. Bring plenty of water and wear your gear unless otherwise advised by your coach. Don't forget the MANDATORY PARENT MEETING!

The Oak Harbor Youth Cheer program has a new email and a new Director! We will miss Kerri and thank her for all of her dedication and knowledge. Girl's Flag Football!!!
The Oak Harbor Youth Football League and Melissa Haley from the Navy Youth Center are looking into a girls only flag football program. We are seeking volunteers, coaches, and of course players for this program. Volunteers and coaches must be at least 21 years of age and participate in an interview which will include a background check. Registration will be held at Holland Happenings at the OHYFL booth. Stay tuned for more information.
