IMPORTANT PLEASE READ !! 

FULL PAYMENT FOR TRAVEL AND FIRST HALF OF DUES IS DUE JAN. 31, 2012

IF ACCOUNT IS NOT CLEARED - AS NOTED ABOVE YOUR DAUGHTER'S AIR, HOTEL AND TOURNAMENT ENTRY WILL BE CANCELLED - AND CANCELLATION FEES ASSESSED THE FAMILY.  AND SHE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TOURNAMENT ROSTER.

MAIN STREET RESERVATION LIST - Click on document inset or go to Handouts 

Air Reservations are set.  Please see attached handout which has 3 itineraries and the listed traveler (player and/or Parent) who is listed on that specific flight.  Air payments have been made.  You cannot switch itineraries.  If you decide you do not want to travel with the club on the United Airline group itinerary of 32 or any other reservation made and paid, there will be a cancellation fee of $300 or more which OVC will assess each person choosing to cancel.

Too late to pay by credit card -- OVC already made the payment. 

IF YOUR NAME IS HILIGHTED IN YELLOW AND YOU DID NOT TELL ME THE CORRECT SPELLING AND/OR NAME ON YOUR ID IT IS TOO LATE. RESERVATIONS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE AND IF YOU NEED TO CORRECT IT THERE WILL BE A CHANGE FEE.

TOO LATE TO PROVIDE MILEAGE NUMBERS.  YOU WILL HAVE TO NOTIFY THE AGENT AT CHECK IN YOURSELF.  US AIRWAYS IS PARTNERS WITH UNITED AIRLINES YOU MAY USE YOUR UA NUMBER. 

EVERYONE TRAVELING, PLEASE KEEP UP WITH YOUR TRAVEL PAYMENTS.  REMEMBER TRAVEL MUST BE MADE IN FULL 2 WEEKS BEFORE TRAVEL OR RESERVATIONS WILL BE CANCELLED AND CANCELLATION FEES ASSESSED THE PLAYER'S ACCOUNT.

Questions?  You don't understand your daughter's statement?  or Don't understand how to read / understand your daughter's statement? 

ANSWER: Go to "Handouts Section" and open the handout called "OVC Bookkeeping Sample" there are bullets and description of a typical player account statement.   

Regarding Summer Travel:

QUESTION: Do parents have to travel with their daughters to Off Island / Mainland Volleyball Tournaments?  To do so, poses a financial burden on our family finances.  

ANSWER:   No, parents are not required to travel with their daughters to Mainland Tournaments.  OVC provides ample adult supervision necessary to include HEAD COACH, CHAPERONE, and other adults who wish to travel.  The girls are under the watchful eye : ) and care of each 24/7.  So if you cannot travel for what ever reason-- do not worry. If you can travel with the team Great ! It will be fun and exciting!  All of our coaches are seasoned travelers and coaches -- Some have been like you -- traveled as a parent then a coach.....

KEY ITEMS I FORGOT TO MENTION AT THE PARENT MEETING:

If you have something to give me-- payments, documents, etc.-- PLEASE MAIL IT.  (I am in and out and don't always hang out)  I always say: "IF YOU DON'T SEE ME--> MAIL IT".

If you are paying by credit card and gave me your information-- please include the CCV numbers on the signature side of your card.  For some -- American Express folk, it is the 4 numbers on the front side of your card.  

ALL TRAVELERS:  GUESSTIMATED TRAVEL COSTS SHALL BE PAID IN FULL BY 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE TRAVEL DATE.  IF IT IS NOT PAID IN FULL BY THAT DATE, I WILL CANCEL ANY AND ALL RESERVATIONS FOR YOUR DAUGHTER AND YOURSELF AND ANY CANCELLATION FEES, SHARED COSTS ETC.  WILL BE ASSESSED TO YOUR DAUGHTER'S ACCOUNT.
