To all the guy involved with the Vulcans 2007 thank you for your support and getting the job done.Even if Wellington were under strength we still showed alot of good quality football. The penalties were extreme and some may have been marginal but thats NZ Football.
To the guys heading off overseas the best of luck and bring back the knowledge and share it with the Football comunity.Im heading off to coach kids rugby for the winter and I hope to catch up with everyone soon.
PS If you want a copy of the game drop me a line.

Nice to see American Football continuing down in NZ. Saw my first NZ Gridiron game in Manurewa in 1984 and helped out a few local league games in '87 with the down marker and yard chain. In '88, I brought some goodies for the Hamilton Hawks when I was on vacation in L.A. Now that I'm living in the USA, I'm been enjoying watching College Gridiron (more fun in my opinion than pro football), as well as enjoying Super Bowl Sunday and Pro Bowl Saturday parties.
Just as a matter of morbid interest: after seeing pics of the bling-laden rings that the Super Bowl champs get to wear, do the Kiwi Bowl champs get rings? |

Thank you all for a great time at the 2006 Down Under Bowl!
Both Auckland Teams were extremely impressive, Our Players have much respect for thier opposition. They had a great time being a part of your Country and Culture even if the time was too short.
Keep in touch! We wish you all the best!

Talofa Kiwi Kids.
Firstly congrats to the Metro Lions for winning the AFNC comp. The Spartans for winning the AFW comp and for the Vulcans win against the Wellington Storm. I see Johnny Hopewell(Killa77) has signed on here for a recruitment drive to play in Europe. I agree and would love for any players thinking of doing their OE to England to try and hook up with a team over here in London/Coventry. I am currently training with the London Olympians again for season 2006. The Olympians are the current British Champs having won the Britbowl 9 times in the past 11 years. The coaching is very good and the team spirit is o for awesome. We are one of the feeder clubs to NFL Europe. Currently we have about 7 players in NFL europe's rosters. So checkout the website provided. I have mentioned how talented our kiwi players are over here and would like more to come over to prove my comments right especially linemen.....the bigger the better....prepare to run alot too. All the best for the Iron Blacks if you have any tests this year.
