| I wasn't at the game between Horseheads and Waverly 11-12s but from what I heard was that was the best LL game that was played. Both teams should be applouded for their never give up attitudes, and it is a shame that someone had to come out a loser. They have battled for 4 years and every game is a nailbiter. Good job Horseheads coaches in keeping the kids heads up and in the game, and keep your heads high Waverly for battling til the end. |

Congratulations to Elmira Heights 11-12 All Stars for their District win.
Now for our Waverly boys: you guys had a great come back last night, too bad for us it was not enough. You guys have nothing to hang your heads about, we have a District title, we know what that win feels like. You made it to the championship game three years in a row..not many teams out there have that under their belt!
In our eyes, you are all winners, no matter the score. You hold your heads up high and know that runner-up is not so bad, atleast you made it that far! And look at your District Title whenever you think all was lost. Great season boys! |
