The New York Predators blanked the Brooklyn Cardinals 30-0 yesterday in a Garden State League preseason contest at New DorpHigh School.
The Predators opened with a 60-yard drive culminating in Danny Cowhig to Curtis James 24-yard touchdown pass and a two-point conversion by the same duo.
In the second quarter, Cowhig ran for TDs from 12 and 4 yards out, while Bryan Tucker ran for another two point conversion to make the score 22-0.
In the third period, Raheem Ridley set up the final TD with a 40-yard run, then Nicky Vitigliano ran 20 more for the score. James another Cowhig toss for the two extra points.
Anthony Polizzi (four tackles 1/2 sack) and Hassan McCoy (three tackles 1/2 sack) and William Dale (Interception) played well defensively.
