New York State Lumberjacks Association
Organized in 1971, the New York State Lumberjacks Association (NYSLA) is comprised of men and women who are interested in promoting, supporting, and/or participating in lumberjack contests. Dues are $10.00 per year if paid by the Spring Meeting and $20.00 if received after the meeting. Membership entitles an individual to be on the mailing list, vote at the Spring and Fall meetings, and compete at NYSLA sanctioned contests.

MEMBER NEWS
Ernie Vroman, a charter member of the NYSLA, passed away on February 28, 2008 at his home in Schoharie after a long illness. He was 92 years old. We send our condolences to his wife Eileene, son Cliff, daughter Annie, and their families.
Michael & Julie Miller's son Ethan underwent successful surgery to repair his cleft palate in January 2008.
Pat & Carrie Hoffa are expecting their first child in July 2008.
Kevin & Stephanie Holtz are expecting their first child in August 2008.
