NEW STATE BACK ROUND CHECK INFORMATION

The State of Pennsylvania has mandated that all volunteers that have contact with children in the sporting community, schools etc, be required to go through our own states Pa. back round check system. This is called  Title 23 Amendment, section 6344. For those who have lived in the state of PA. for the last 10 years, it requires you filling out free paperwork on 2 websites, and bringing us the copies of your completed approved paperwork. For those who have moved into our state sometime in the last 10 years, it requires additional finger prints, which do come with a cost to you. Anyone wishing to Manage or Coach a team in any capacity, will not be allowed on the field for a practice or game, or in the dugout,  unless you have turned in a copy of these approved documents. These documents can be duplicated and transferred to any other sports or activity you are a part of, and only need to be done once, every 60 months. Below are the websites to get your paper backround checks completed.  It is our hope that every parent will want to get this done, since there could be a time your Manager is shorthanded, and could use your help in the dugout, or on the field. Each Manager will have a list of the parents on his/her team who have successfully completed the back round check process. This will assure we follow state guidelines, and allow only those accredited people on the field of play, or in the dugout.
