Welcome to the website of Northwest Youth Athletic Association (NYAA). Home of Northwest Little League,  LehighValley League softball, Northwest Explosion 10-U, 12-U, 14-U, 16-U, 18-U and 23U PONY AND USSSA Fastpitch Tournament teams, Crush LV Little Baseball League, and traveling baseball

                               

                                   FUNDRAISING DEADLINE

    The deadline for all raffle ticket stub, and money return in April 1st. Uniforms will be handed out shortly. If your family has not fulfillled it's fundraising obligations, your child will not receive his /her uniform.  

      You may turn in your stubs and payment at the work party Saturday March 28th, from 9am-Noon. You may also turn it in Sunday night March 29th, at the General Membership Meeting from 7-8:30pm. 

 

 


             GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING #2

The second General Membership Meeting is Sunday March 29th at 7pm.

 

                                                           T-BALL

T-Ball is every Wednesday night from 6-7:30pm, and every Saturday from 10-11:30am. It starts Wednesday April 15th, and ends with a party on June 3rd. We are still accepting registration for T-Ball. Contact Jim Koehler at nyaapa@aol.com 484-256-5697 

 

   LIBERTY HURRICANE SOFTBALL CLINIC

The Staff and players of the Hurricane High School team will conduct a softball clinic at Liberty Sunday March 29th. Areas covered will be hitting,throwing, fielding, oitching and catching and base running. The clinic will be held in 2 sessions, 9am-Noon for ages 11-14, and 1:30-4:30 for ages 7-10. Cost is $25.   2015 LITTLE LEAGUE REGISTRATION DATES

Below are the dates and times for Little League registration. All registrations are held in our council room, which is located on the back of the snack stand building.  Again for 2015, you can register at the League which your childs school is physicaly located in their territory. That means any child going to Clearview, James Buchanan, ASA Packer, Hanover, Notre Dame and theThe Charter School can register at Northwest. In addition, for girls softball, we also have the territories of City Line, Bethlehem Twsp, and Fountain Hill. First time players please bring a Birth Certificate. 

Save time at registration, by filling out a registration form found in the handout section on the left of this page, and taking it with you.

    PRACTICE FACILITY UPGRADES   

Our practice facility of 14 years was in need of a make over. I am proud to say those updates are completed. New retractable netting, turf and lighting no make this a 1st class practice facility. Thank you to all who parents and companies who donated their time and money to completing the project.

                             LEHIGH VALLEY LEAGUE BASEBALL

In addition to Little League, the NYAA will be entering the Lehigh Valley Baseball League for 2013.  Teams at 10U(Biddy), 12U (Midget), and 14U(Knee-Hi) will compete against teams from around the Lehigh Valley during the 2013 season. Midget Division has full leading and stealing, 70 ft. bases and 48 ft. mound like traveling Tournament Baseball. Knee-Hi Division has full leading and stealing, 80 ft. bases and a 53 ft. mound, which makes this a great transition to the 90 ft. bases in future years.                                EXPLOSION FASTPITCH SOFTBALL

The Explosion Fastpitch Softball program offers Ladies ages 8-18 a variety of programs in which to compete. Ladies wishing weeknight League play can play in the Lehigh Valley League which runs May to July at ages 8-U, 10-U,12-U,14-U, 16-U and plays teams from across the Lehigh Valley, Mondat through Thursday only. For those wishing weekend traveling Tournaments, we offer excellent teams which compete across the East Coast and at Nationals at 10-U, 12-U, 14-U, 16-U, 18-U.
