2]  Playing Up And Down

Playing Down In A Younger Age Division
A child isn’t permitted to play down in a younger age division unless there is a special need.

Playing Up In A Older Age Division Age
If you would like your child to play up in an older age division note this on their player signup form which is permitted as long as their own age division is not short players, there is an open spot in the older age division and if it is deemed the child is capable of doing so.

Club Level Player
If wanting to participate in a season a club level player must play at least one age up.

Playing In Own Age And Older Age Division
If playing in own age division and the older age division is short players a child may be given opportunity to play in both their own age and older age divisions if it is deemed the child is capable of doing so for just the cost of their team top.  Playing on two teams within the same division is not permitted.  The exception being if an Under 12 or Under 15 team needs to on occasion use a guest player for a non NW vs NW game due to having a small team roster or being short players.

3]  Playing Time And Positions

Playing Time
All players who regularly attend practices and fulfill other team obligations should receive ideally the following play time in every game if physically able to do so.  Coaches will be asked to do their best to make this so.  U4 through U9 player, 50% play time.  U10 through U12 player, 45%-55% play time.  U13 through U15 player, 40%-60% play time.

Positions
U4 through U9 players in most cases will be given an opportunity to play at each position, U10 through U12 players to a somewhat lesser degree and U13 through U15 player positions will be mostly based upon the player's abilities and team needs.  Coaches will be asked to do their best to make this so.  With regard to the Goalkeeper position, the player needs to volunteer for this position, unless no player on the team wants to play Goalkeeper in which case each player on the team will be rotated into the position during the course of a season.
