Northwest Little League: Located in Tampa, Fla., Northwest Little League is in Florida District 6 under District Administrator Greg Sinadinos. The league has been a chartered member of Little League since 1956, and involved with the Little League Urban Initiative for three years. Approximately 240 children are participating in Northwest Little League, which fields 20 teams. The league president is Danny Rodriguez, and the league is a member of the Tampa Inner City Little Leagues (TICLL).

2009 Spring Season finished out great, we had some major issues with the uniforms in the begining of the season and would like to apologize to all the parents and to the kids for that, and as president I assure you that won't happen again. I want to thank all of the managers & coaches for a great job and the time you spent with the kids. All of the volunteer staff behind me and that stood by me. I would like to say Thank You ! all of the umpires that did games for us a big Thank you ! All of my board members Erica Rodriguez, Troy Alonso, Angie Velez, Jim Pardo, Fransico Martinez, Dana Burkett. All of the parents that spent time volunteering at the consession stand, fields and for donating the soda, candies and snacks. Make sure we all sign the kids up for Winter Season starting August 2009.

Once again NWLL will be having registration for the 2008 Fall Season starting with Early Registration August 16, 2008 from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Cost for early registration $ 50.00. Online registration begins July 23, 2008 and ends August 19, 2008 Cost for online will be $50.00. visit our website to register online just look for registration signs.

Registration Dates are as follows- Cost $65.00/$55.00 additional kid

2008 FALL SEASON REGISTRATION CLOSED !

We are not taking anymore kids for the 2008 Fall Season. We will start registration again for the 2009 Spring Season. Look out for Early registration dates coming soon..

First of all I would like to say thanks to EJ Leto (president of WTLL ) for a great job on this tournament for the 7 & 8 year olds. The experience these kids had was a great one. As for the NW Yankees 7 & 8 years old they did an outstanding job representing NWLL at this tournament. I would like to congradulate all the players, manager Roberto Diaz, coaches, & parents for coming in 2nd place in this tournament. 

Now comes the Citrus Park Tournament for the 8 years old starting May 31st 2008. Roberto Diaz will be representing the NW team. Good luck and remember to have fun !

2008 Spring Season is coming to a close, It's been a great season for Northwest LL and we are having our closing ceremonies on May 28, 2008 @ 7pm.Please have your child in their team shirt. Trophies will be handed out promptly @ 7pm. so please be on time. Dinner will be served around 6:15pm. Cost will be $5.00 ( includes yellow rice, fried chicken, salad and drink ) and $3.50 for players. Come early so you can eat.

We are still collecting money for the raffle and the winner will be drawn at Closing Ceremonies and also the pictures will be ready as well. Thank You all for a great season at NWLL and we will be doing Early Registration in August 2008 for Winter Season, we will post the dates and the cost the first week of August.

I am happy to let everyone know that the BB 9 & 10 yr olds All- Star Tournaments will be held at Northwest LL on June 21,2008 thru 28th.

We are also having a BB 7 & 8 Minor B Allstar team representing NWLL this year at West Tampa Little League, May 16, 2008 at Skyway park.

We are also taking a team of 8 year olds to Citrus Park Minor Tournament Starting on May 31, 2008.

We are going to start the Local competition on th Pitch, Hit, & Run April 13, 2008 at 11:00am Sunday Morning, So have the kids eat a good breakfast so they could advance to Sectional.. There will be a Champion for each age groups( 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14 ), The only one that advances to sectionals would have to be all around champion.. Good Luck and remember that it's to have Fun!!!!!!

Yes we are have a 2nd Tryout session on Jan. 31, 2008 on the Major Field @ 6:30pm for Minor A, Major, Junior Divisions. This will be the last tryout for the Spring Season. Our Opening Day has been moved from Feb. 16, 2008 to Feb. 23, 2008.

We are looking for responsible people that are at least 15 years old or older to volunteer working in the concession stand during Spring & Fall seasons. It's a great opportunity for community service hours for kids that are in sport programs or other programs at there school that requires community hours.
