A member of Northwest Youth Athletic Association, Bethlehem, Pa
The Explosion Softball Program is dedicated to the young ladies of the Bethlehem area for our Lehigh Valley League Teams, and from around the Lehigh Valley for our traveling Tournament Teams.
Our Coaching Staff's mission, is to take talented young ladies who are eager to learn, and give them the tools necessary to compete at the High School and College levels. We instill good values and character, all while teaching life lessons they will need to succeed in their future as an adult.

FALLEN ANGEL
It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of Kasey Roman. Kasey was a bubbly and spirited individual, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marcia and Mike, Jesse, Matt and Chris would like to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.
There will be a tree planting ceremony and candle light vigil at Northwest Sunday November 1st at starting at 4Pm. Donations will also be collected for the Kasey Roman Scholarship fund. Checks can be made to The Kasey Roman Scholarship Fund.
Viewing will be held Tuesday November 3rd at the Long Funeral Home on Linden street in Bethlehem from 6-9 PM . Mass will be held Wednesday at the Notre Dame Church on Catasaqua Rd. in Bethlehem starting at 11 oclock.

2010 LEHIGH VALLEY LEAGUE SPRING REGISTRATION
The Explosion will open registration for it's spring 2010 Lehigh Valley League spring teams at 12U, 14U, 16U. Our teams will compete against teams from around the Lehigh Valley. Better competition makes better players. This League starts early to mid May, and runs until the end of June, playing two games a week, Monday through Thursday only. Playoffs will start in July. Registration is held now, so that our teams can practice all winter long (optional) in our in house heated batting cage and pitching facility. You may print a registration form, by clicking on the handout section to your left, and choosing 2010 Lehigh Valley League form. This form may be mailed, or brought to one of the registration nights. UPCOMING EXPLOSION FUNDRAISERS
SUNDAY NOVEMBER 15TH
The 16U Black team will host a comedy night at the Firehouse Bar, 217 Broadway in South Bethlehem from 7-9PM . Doors open for Food patronage and cash bar at 6PM. Headliner is comedian Jimmy Carroll. Tickets are $20 each, and can be purchased from Ross Wilson at rosswwilson@gmail.com or 610-393-3665
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21ST
The 12U team will host a Pancake breakfast at Applebees on Catasaqua rd. from 8-10AM. All you can eat pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and soda, tickets are $6 each and can be purchased from John Keet at kettjj@msn.com or 610-762-7198
SUNDAY DECEMBER 13TH
The 14U Explosion Red team will host a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast on Sunday december 13th at the Aplebees on Rt. 191 in Bethlehem, from 8-10 AM. Tickets are $7 a person, and photos with Santa will also be available. For tickets contact Bill Pinter at pinterb@dnb.com or 610-248-4544
