The 10u Nightmare took top honors in the Carson City Qualifier this weekend, they started the tournament strong with a tie against #1 seeded Carson Sharks and a lopsided loss to Desert Valley Dynomite, but on day two the scenario was reversed they held on to beat DV Dynomite by a score of 7-2 in the first game putting them in the matchup with Carson Sharks in the championship. The Girls played a exciting game where the lead changed 7 times in 7 innings, one team would go ahead, the home team would retake the lead it went all the way to the final inning with the Sharks taking the lead in the top half of the inning and then the Nightmare scoring the winning run in the bottom half to get the Victory!.
This qualifies them for the NAFA state tournament, being a Babe Ruth affiliated team. Way to go BR and the 10u Coaches, players and parents.
