IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM DISTRICT FIVE LITTLE LEAGUE

Important Update from District Five Little League
As many of your are aware, after more than 5 decades of deep rooted community-based baseball history, the current board of directors of Forest Hills Little League and North Van Central Little League recently decided to leave Little League to pursue other baseball options.  While not surprised about these unfortunate developments District Five Little League remains committed to providing Little League Baseball in your area for many years to come.  Our programs encourage kids to play in their local communities, with friends, and with the opportunity to play more competitive baseball through the summer season.
As of this week, District Five has sought approval to expanded boundaries for both Highands and Lynn Valley Little League to accomodate all families that wish to continue participating in our Little League program with stronger leagues.  The new boundary guidelines will be Lonsdale west to Capilano River being Highlands, and Lonsdale east now being included into Lynn Valley.  At recent meetings in Ottawa the new boundaries were approved by Little League Canada and now as of November 30th Little League International
Reistration is now open for these leagues and an email will follow shortly with  more infomation on your new league.
