NTX Warhawks: Welcome
Friday, June 22
The Warhawks start the AAYBA World Series this weekend playing solid baseball finishing 3rd in three straight tournaments. It will be a tough tournament for the team but they will be up to the challenge. Games start Sunday with the team playing at 0800 and 1600 and a single game on Monday at 1800. Monday, June 4
The Warhawks finished 3rd in the Trophy Hunter tournament losing a tight semi-final game to the eventual tournament champion 2-1. Both the bracket games came down to the wire with the first game going to the Warhawks 7-6. Another strong finish for the team leading up to this weekend's tournament. Way to go Warhawks!!!
Sunday, June 3
The Warhawks enter bracket play as the #3 seed on Sunday for the Trophy Hunter's tournament in Colleyville. The Warhawks took care of business during pool play taking the first game 13-5 and the second 13-6. The Warhawks will face the Dallas Dragons in the first bracket game on Sunday.
Monday, May 21
The Warhawks finished a strong 3rd at the TNT 10th Annual Mayfest tournament in Mesquite, TX this past weekend. They wrapped up pool play on Saturday as the #1 seed scoring 17 runs and only giving up 1 over the 2 pool games thus securing a first round bye. The Warhawks took care of business against the Dragons Baseball 13U team during bracket play to setup a semifinal match-up against the East Texas Red Sox. The semifinal game was a close to the end but the eventual tournament champions pulled out a 6-3 win over the Warhawks.
The Warhawks are playing solid defense, pitching well, and starting to score a lot of runs which has lead to the 9-1 record over the past 2 tournaments. Keep it up Warhawks!!!Monday, May 7

The Warhawks ran the table going 6 - 0 to win the 2012 May Day @ Grand Prairie Tournament. The team got on a roll Sunday as the bats put up 44 runs over the 4 bracket games. They had great pitching and solid defense over the same 4 games giving up only 16 runs. The qurterfinal and semifinal games were close and down to the wire. The semifinal game went to a "California Tiebreak" with the Warhawks pulling off the 11 - 10 win sending them to the finals against the NTXBC Yard Dawgs. The bats continued to be hot putting up 16 runs with the defense only giving up 1 in the championship game.
This was a strong showing for the boys and puts them in a good position to make a run in the remaining tournaments before the AAYBA World Series. Congratulations team for a great weekend of baseball!!!!
Sunday, May 6
The Warhawks finished pool play on Saturday 2 - 0 to secure the #3 seed going into bracket play on Sunday. The Warhawks bats came alive in both pool games scoring 10 runs in each game. The first game had them put up 8 runs in one inning and the last game the Warhawks scored 6 in the last inning to take the win. The boys are on a roll going into bracket play. Let's go Warhawks!!!
Monday, April 16
The Warhawks were able to get (2) games in during pool play before the tournament was eventually rained out. Unfortunately the Warhawks did not finish as strong as they would have liked going 0 - 2 on Saturday. Although the results were disappointing we had solid pitching and the bats are starting to come alive. The boys will have to bounce back quick and get ready for the DFW Super NIT tournament this coming weekend.
Sunday, April 1
The North Texas Warhawks bounced back this weekend to finish a strong 4th in the GPBBI April Fool's tournament. The boys finished the weekend with a solid 3-2 record, going 1-1 during pool play and 2-1 during bracket play. The Warhawks bats came alive during the tournament and everyone in the line up was hitting. Great job Warhawks!
Monday, March 26
It was a great weekend to play baseball! It was good to get the Warhawks on the field and be able to finally complete a tournament. The Warhawks split their pool games on Saturday taking the first game 9-3 and losing to the Bombers 11-1 in the final game of the day. They played a tough Palmer Longhorns team in bracket play on Sunday but came up short in a 6-0 final. While not what the team was hoping for they had strong pitching all weekend and the bats started making solid contact in the final game.
The Warhawks will have a quick turnaround as the April Fool's tournament in Grand Prairie is this coming weekend. Good luck team!
