Senior SB NTLL State of Florida All Stars Game Results

New Tampa over Southside 10-8

Taylor Gaias had a 2-run inside the park home run in the bottom of the 6th inning proving to be the difference in a high scoring game. Katlin Hall and Emani Mays combined for 3 doubles and 5 rbi’s and Lee Toro and Jordan Brett combined for 5 runs scored. Chelsea Clark, Lexi Walters and Becky Fisher also had hits and New Tampa had 21 total base runners in the game. Katlin Hall, Jordan Brett, Becky Fisher and Lexi Walters combined to pitch 7 innings.

Lehigh over New Tampa 10-4

New Tampa stranded 12 base runners and Lehigh scored all 10 runs in an error plagued 5th inning. In the other 6 innings, New Tampa pitching only allowed 4 base runners. Jessica Goldin had 2 hits and Lee Toro, Jordan Brett, Katlin Hall, Emani Mays and Aly Condon each had hits in the game, however the offense sputtered stranded bases loaded opportunities in 2 innings and left runners on base in 6 of 7 innings.

 

New Tampa over Port St. Lucie 6-2

Katlin Hall pitched 7 strong innings allowing only 2 hits while striking out 9 for the complete game win. Aly Condon had 2 hits and scored, Hall added a double, Emani Mays had a hit and scored twice, Jessica Goldin, Shannon Fallon and Chelsea Clark also had hits. Lexi Walters and Lee Toro each reached base 3 times and scored. New Tampa ended pool play in a three way tie at 2-1, did not advance due to the runs against average tie breaker but played the game with heart and enthusiasm.

New Tampa Senior Softball finished All Star play with a 7-1 record in District, Sectional and States! This is a tremendous group of young ladies who accomplished very good things on and off the field this year. Congratulations on a great run! Let’s do it again next year!

Senior SB NTLL Section 4 All Stars Game Results

NTLL win 16-3 over East Bay in 5 innings.  All 12 players reached base on 11 hits and 9 walks. Emani Mays led the way with 3 hits and 5 rbi’s, Katlin Hall added 2 hits, and Lee Toro, Chelsea Clark, Jessica Goldin, Aly Condon, Becky Fisher and Taylor Gaias all had hits. Katlin Hall and Jordan Brett combined to allow only 3 hits and 1 walk for the win.

NTLL win 3-1 over Polk City.  Katlin Hall pitched a complete game 1 hitter including 13 strikeouts to shut down a very good Polk City team. Lexie Walters, Nikki Boucher, Jordan Brett and Hall each had hits and Chelsea Clark, Jessica Golden and Hall had rbi’s to pace the offense.

10/11 SB NTLL Section 4 All Stars Game Results
July 17th
The New Tampa "Ninja's" 10-11 All Star team battled Land O' Lakes 11 year old All Stars in Game 1 of Section IV play. The "Ninja" defense was spectacular, with outstanding catches in the OF gaps by Alyssa Wash and Mollie Golicher. Caliegh Fletcher winged a strong throw from RF to hose a runner trying to stretch a double to 2nd.Ashleigh Ackroyd played solid 3B, with Erica Matich notching 5 assists from her post at SS. Courtney Vogler nailed a runner stealing 2B with her rocket arm. Bunt rotation was flawless with Wash and Prisco playing a solid 2B covering first. Reed Jahnke was solid at 1st with 5 put outs.Emily Small started at pitcher, scattering 4 hits, with one K, and 1 BB and giving up 3 earned runs. Erica Matich pitched 2 solid innings, with 2 K's, 2 BB, 1 hit and 2 earned runs. Mollie Golicher threw the last 2 innings, with 1 K, 2 BB, and 1 hit, and 2 earned runs. With Land O Lakes up 3 - 1 going into the 3rd inning, New Tampa stranded 2 runners on base. In the 4th inning, trailing 6-1, New Tampa again came close, leaving 3 on base. With New Tampa rallying again in the 6th, New Tampa out hit LOL, 7 hits to 6 hits. New Tampa lost the contest 10-1, stranding 7 runners on base. Emily Small, Ashleigh Ackroyd and Mollie Golicher led the "Ninja's" with 2 hits a piece, and Erica Matich chipping in 1.
July 18th
Another solid "team" effort from the 10-11 SB "Ninja's" in game 2 vs.. Bloomingdale. New Tampa came out swinging early, with 4 runs in the first inning, to win the contest 15 - 5. Stellar defense from New Tampa again, led by 2 Double-Plays, by Kayla Prisco in CF and Alyssa Wash at 2B. New Tampa was again strong at the corners with Ashleigh Ackroyd at 3B and Reed Jahnke at 1B. New Tampa's pitching proved to be very strong as well, with Emily Small notching 4 K's, 1 hit, 1 BB and 1 earned run in 2 innings. Erica Matich gave up one hit, 4 BB and 1 earned run, and Mollie Golicher closed the game out with 3 - K's, 1 BB, 4 hits and 2 earned runs. The "Ninja" hit parade, was led by Courtney Vogler and Emily Small with 3 hits a piece, and Alyssa Wash with 2 hits, Kayla Prisco, Erica Matich, Ashleigh Ackroyd, Reed Jahnke and Mollie Golicher with 1 hit a piece led a potent offense in the win.
July 18th
In a rain delayed final pool game, the 10-11 SB "Ninja's" once again rallied early in the game to beat East Point 10-11 All Stars 10-0. Emily Small went the distance, with 4 K's and giving up only 1 hit and  2 BB's, and a strong effort behind the dish, for the 3rd game in a row from Courtney Vogler. On defense, Caliegh Fletcher led the way at 2B with 2 assists, and Erica Matich at SS with a great play. Kayla Prisco and Matich led the offense with 2 hits a piece, with Fletcher, Alyssa Wash, Reed Jahnke, Ashleigh Ackroyd and Mollie Golicher notching one a piece.
New Tampa ended Section IV play as the runner up for the 10-11 SB All Stars, led by Manager Mike Ackroyd.

9/10 BB NTLL Section 4 All Stars Game Results

July 17th Summary 

NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 win 11-2 over D26 Manatee East -  New Tampa's bats were red hot in the opener of the Section 4 tournament. Clayton Coringrato hit 2 monster HR's and had 4 RBI's. Jonathan Baughman added a HR as well and played great defense at short. New Tampa scored 4 runs in the 3rd and 4 more in the 4th followed by 3 in the 5th to put the game away. Ricardo Viloria had a key bases loaded single. Bryce Martin pitched 4 solid innings with 6 strike outs and also had 3 hits. Clayton Coringrato pitched the final 2 innings to close the game out. Solid team defense led by Mikey Culumber, Everett Harris and another complete game behind the plate for Eddie Thinger.

July 18th Summary

NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 lost 8-9 to D13 Bloomingdale National - New Tampa jumped out to the early lead on the strong Bloomingdale team. After 4 innings NTLL was up 7-3. Bloomingdale scored 2 runs in the 5th and with NTLL up 7-6 with 2 outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th inning, they drew a walk to tie the game. They eventually scored the winning run in extra innings. Spencer McCabe, Jonathan Baughman, Aaron Guiang, Bryce Martin, Henry Havre and Zack Belusic had key hits. Jeffery Guttentag, Eddie Thinger, Clayton Coringrato, Ricardo Viloria and Mikey Culumber played great defense. Bloomingdale advances to the state tournament.

10/11 NTLL Baseball All Stars Game Results
June 27, 2009 Summary 
NTLL wins 8-5 over Land O LakesGreat ball game between two very good teams.   Great pitching effort from Kishan Patel as he pitched 4 1/3 innings and gave up only 5 hits.  NTLL got behind early as Land O Lakes took a 4-0 lead.  NTLL came back to tie the game with 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with hits from Hunter Huseby, Mason Strickland, Tyler Garam,  Logan Storts and Kishan Patel.  NTLL took the lead for good in the bottom of the fifth as we scored 4 runs aided by a couple of walks and  key hits by Tyler Garam and Scotty McGuire.   Tyler Garam pitched the last 1 2/3 innings and allowed no runs.  Pitchers were supported by a great defense that played error free baseball with lots of action in the infield as Ethan Thomas fielded 8 balls and Garrett Back, Logan Storts and Tyler Hathcoat fielded another 6 balls.  Outstanding outfield play from Dalton Smith, Adam Chronister and Zack Kitchen. Next Game:  Sunday at 1:00 against Dade City.
June 28, 2009 Summary
NTLL wins 16-3 over Dade City in a 4 inning game.  Great pitching effort by Dalton Smith and an offensive production from everyone to produce 16 runs for the win.  Another strong defensive outing as only 3 runs were allowed.
July 6, 2009 Summary
NTLL wins 10-3 over Lutz.  Rain delayed the start of the game by 1-1/2 hours but NTLL took care of business with a win over Lutz and now advances to the championship game on Wednesday night.  Pitching duties were handled by Kishan Patel who pitched one inning and Ethan Thomas who pitched a strong 5 innings.

11/12 NTLL Baseball All Stars Game Results

June 28, 2009 Summary

NTLL wins 12-0 over Dade CityAnthony Grampietro led off the game with a solo HR. Greg Aiello followed with a 2 run HR 2 batters later to put New Tampa ahead 3-0. Chase Niswonger held Dade City to only 3 hits.  New Tampa played great defense throughout the game with strong play from Tyler Coringrato, Grampietro, Aiello and Laine Fontenot. Anthony Grampietro finished the day with his second HR to walk off in the 4th inning. Grampietro (4) and Aiello (3) combined for 7 RBI's.

July 6, 2009 Summary

NTLL wins 12-1 over LOLAll 12 players contributed to a great team win and a 12 run victory against Land O Lakes, Laine Fontenot pitched a great game and stayed in command on the hill for the 4 inning game. The entire NT lineup produced hits and scoring opportunities throughout the night. Ricky Condon scorched a home run (New Fence Club Member) over the left center field during his first at bat in the second inning to start a 7 run inning. Key hits and RBI's from Collin Stickley, Alex Broderick, Logan Krusa, and Erick Cantos. The NT defense was flawless with great play from outfielders Daniel Stein, Collin Stickley, and Alex Montgomery.

Junior NTLL Baseball All Stars Game Results

June 28th Summary 

NTLL won 16-0 over North Seminole. Zack Zaversnik, Bryan Karmann and Carson Marple combined to pitch a no-hitter. James Roll made a great play to end the game and save the no-hitter. Ryan Lawson led the attack going 3 for 4. Alex Kranick was 2 for 3, while Paul Albear, Collin Brich, Tristan Deluna and James Roll each added a hit.

July 7th Summary

NTLL won 11-1 over Land O’ Lakes 11-1 in a six inning game. Zack Zaversnik pitched a complete game four hitter and also hit a home run to back up his pitching. Every player contributed as New Tampa had 25 runners on base during the game. Hits were provided by Paul Albear, Tristan Deluna, Brett Kaminski, Bryan Karmann, Ryan Lawson and Zaversnik. Brian Morand and James Roll both made nice catches in the outfield. Defense was outstanding as New Tampa turned two double plays.

9/10 NTLL Softball All Stars Game Results

June 27th Summary

NTLL lost 3-16 to LOL. 

June 28th Summary

NTLL won 15-10 vs Zephyrhills. Carlee Jacobs pitched 2.5 solid innings and the defense was led by Mallory McManus who played an excellent first base. Mallory had several stretch saves and a great catch in foul territory. The game started out well with everyone hitting on offense and NTLL led 6-1 after the first inning. NTLL continued to play well on offense including three great bunts by Alex Dixon, Dani Keesee, and Emily Gresham. On defense Alexis Ridolph had several great stops at third and Gracie Seidl finished the game with 2.5 innings of solid pitching.

June 29th Summary

NTLL won 11-3 over Dade City. NTLL got off to a great defensive start with Ashlee Markovitz pitching the first 2 innings and only allowing one run on two hits. The game was tied 3-3 after the 4th but the NTLL offense was ignited in the 5th by straight singles by Ashlee and Aline Dayaa. Right behind them Mallory McManus and Alex Dixon both bunted for singles and an RBI each and Gracie Seidl rounded everything out with a double that drove in both Mallory and Alex. NTLL was able to maintain the lead behind 4 strong innings from Emily Gresham who gave up no earned runs. The offensive leaders were Ashlee who went 3-3 with a double and 2 singles and scoring 2 runs. Also scoring 2 runs each were Gracie who went 3-4 with a single, double, and walk and Carlee Jacobs who was 2-4 with a double and a single.

 



Tuesday, June 30
11/12 NTLL Softball All Stars Game Results

June 28th Summary

The 11-12 New Tampa 'Shining Stars" team, won the first round of District 25 Play 11 - 0, vs Dade City in a rain delayed event. New Tampa pitching was strong, only allowing 1 hit through 5 innings of play. Jenna Widell, Maddy Hall, Maria Horvath, ShaiLynn Morales-Ford and Leah Vail collectively recording 7 K's and only 4 BB. Defense was strong for NTLL as Nikki Keesee led the way with a spectacular catch on a drive to CF, and Kam Beach playing a strong SS and 3B. Makliegh Dooley led the offensive surge with 3 hits, with Maddy Hall and Morales-Ford with 2 a piece. Kallie Golicher was strong behind the plate and chipped in one RBI, with Widell and Morales-Ford with 2 RBI's a piece. Speed on the base paths and solid defense supplied from Nicole Stannard and Haley Burns rounded out a "team" win in round one.

June 29th Summary
The 11-12 Shining Stars team, lost a heartbreaker, 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th to Land O Lakes. NTLL was led by Leah Vail on the mound who pitched 6 strong innings, giving up 4 hits, and striking out 4. Maddy Hall led a strong defensive effort for NTLL at 3rd base, deeking out a player on a "check 3 go 1", with Kam Beach covering behind at 3rd for the put out which saved a run early on. NTLL also executed 2 "pickle" plays, and Kallie Golicher was solid behind the plate gunning a runner attempting to steal 2nd. Hall, Golicher and Makaliegh Dooley were the only players to notch hits for NTLL, who stranded 4 runners on base, and could not capitalize with bases loaded and 1 out in the 2nd inning.
June 30th Summary
The 11-12 Shining Stars advanced to the Championship round, with a win against Zephyrhills, 17 - 1. ShaiLynn Morales Ford led the offense going 3-3, with a 3 run HR, and scored 3 runs. Kam Beach also had 3 hits, with Jenna Widell and Maria Horvath chipping in 2. Notching hits as well for NTLL were Nicole Stannard, Maddy Hall and Kallie Golicher all driving in runs. The pitching was handled by Makaliegh Dooley who only gave up 2 hits, leaving 3 on base and striking out 4, and Kam Beach who gave up 1 hit, leaving 2 on base and striking out 5 batters.

Senior NTLL Softball All Stars Game Results

June 28th Summary

NTLL 11-0 win over North Seminole.  Katlin Hall and Jordan Brett combined to pitched a 2 hit shutout and Hall also led the offense with 2 hits including a 2-run double in the 3rd inning to ignite the offense. Lalena Toro scored 3 runs, and Becky Fisher and Jordan Brett scored 2 each.

June 29th Summary 

NTLL 11-1 win over Zephyrhills in 5 innings. Katlin Hall, Nicki Boucher and Becky Fisher combined for a no hitter as New Tampa cruised to an 11-1 victory. Katlin Hall was 3-4 at the plate with two doubles, a triple and 6 rbi’s. Jordan Brett hit a 2- run double and scored 3 times, and Emani Mays and Lexi Walters drove in a run each.

July 7th Summary

NTLL 2-1 win over Zephyrhills.  Katlin Hall pitched a complete game 1 hitter and NTLL outlasted a very scrappy Zephyrhills team for a 2-1 victory for the District Championship. Jessica Golden led the offense with 2 hits and a run scored. Taylor Gaias and Jordan Brett each had hits. Hall faced one batter over the minimum and had 13 strikeouts in an outstanding performance including the last 3 hitters of the game to seal the win. NTLL moves on to the Sectional Tournament on July 18th in Braden River.

9/10 NTLL Baseball All Stars Game Results

June 20 Game Summary
NTLL 9/10 BB Team#2 (Trujeque) lost 2-9 to Temple Terrace.
NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 (Belusic) win 18-2 over Zephyrhills.  Six pitchers combine for a 2 hitter. Jonathan Baughman, Bryce Martin, Aaron Guiang, Clay Coringrato, Mikey Culumber and Henry Havre were all nearly unhittable. The offense was as hot as the 105 degree day pounding out 17 hits. Jonathan Baughman went 5 for 5 with 3 runs scored, Clay Coringrato had 3 hits including a double while Bryce Martin had a key double and threw 2 base runners out attempting to steal. Eddie Thinger fought through the heat while catching 4 solid innings behind the plate as well as hitting a key RBI single. Everrett Harris, Tanner Douglas, Aaron Guiang, Spencer McCabe and Henry Havre combined for RBI's as well. Ricardo Viloria played super defense at 2B the entire day.
June 21 Game Summary 
NTLL 9/10 BB Team#2 win 14-2 over Zephyrhills 14-2.  Team#2 (Trujeque) was led in hitting by Brian Seybold who hit a grand slam homer over the center field fence in the top of the 2nd to spark a 5 run inning.  Max Plager got the win with a strong pitching performance by getting ahead of the batters with first pitch strikes.  NTLL played good defense and pulled off a double play when Kyle Fontenot made a diving catch in center and doubled the runner leaving early at second base.
June 22 Game Summary 
NTLL 9/10 BB Team#2 win 14-6 over Dade CityThe score was 14-6 but the game was back and forth until the 4th inning.  Dade City opened the scoring with a run in the first inning.  New Tampa tied the game up with an rbi double by Austin Forest scoring David Trujeque from first base.  Two more runs scored when Max Plager hit a sacrifice fly to and scored Brian Seybold and Austin Forest.  Appell pitched with a 3-1 lead into the 4th inning before Dade City tied the score at 3-3 with bases loaded and no outs.  Brian Seybold came in relief allowing 1 run to score. Down 4-3 in the top of the 5th inning, Brian Seybold walked and moved to 3rd on a base hit by Max Plager.  Aaron Muench came to the plate and drove a long fly ball to right field to drive in the tying run with a sacrifice.  This run rallied the troops with Max Plager, Nick Rakoczy, Jack McMahan and Tyler Woody scored.  Tyler Woody had lined a shot to left field and picked up two rbis making the score 8-3.  Brian Seybold came back out and allowed only one run to score.  New Tampa added 5 insurance runs with Kyle Fontenot scoring on Austin Appell's double just short of going out over the left field fence.  Brian Seybold singled and scored; followed by another hit by Max Plager; with a walk to Myles Mylet.  Aaron Muench came in to run for Myles and scored on a Nick Rakoczy double. 
NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 win 119 over Lutz Blue. NTLL came out of the gates red hot with 5 runs in the top of the 1st highlighted by Spencer McCabe's monster grand slam home run over the center field fence. Jonathan Baughman continued his hot tournament hitting streak by going 3 for 3  and is now 8 for 8 in two games.Jeffrey Guttentag had 2 hits including a double and scored 2 runs. Clay Coringrato made a sensational catch in center field and Eddie Thinger threw out the 3rd runner in the tournament for the impressive NTLL catching staff. With the score tied 9 - 9 in the last inning Zack Belusic drew a lead off walk. Mikey Culumber came in to pinch run and scored on Bryce Martin's game winning hit. Henry Havre brought home Everrett Harris with a single to add the insurance run. Bryce Martin pitched 2 1/3 solid innings of relief and Jonathan Baughman came in to close the game and threw lights out to earn the save.
June 23 Game Summary
NTLL 9/10 BB Team#2 lost 5-21 to Lutz Red. Lutz got on the board first, scoring 3 runs in the top of the 1st inning.  Austin Forest led off with a double to left, walks to Austin Appel and Brian Seybold loaded the bases for Max Plager.  Max hit a single up the middle to score Forest and Apple.  Kyle Fontenot then hit a sacrifice ground ball to short to score Seybold.   The game was then tied 3-3 into the 3rd inning with Myles Mylet on the mound.  He a great game going but got into a bases loaded jam with no outs.  Jack McMahan came on in relief and threw strikes but after a couple of errors the score was 7-3.  David Trujeque had a base hit and advanced to third on a base hit from Austin Appel.  With runners on 2nd and 3rd, David drew a throw from the catcher trying to catch him off base and he beat the throw home to score.  Austin Appel then scored on a double from Brian Seybold.. After NTLL players were retired in the bottom of the 3rd, the score was 7-5.  The Lutz bats came alive and they scored 14 unanswered runs to take a 21-5 lead.  New Tampa went down in order in the bottom of the 4th to end the game.
June 24 Game Summary
NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 win 12-10 over LOL Gold. In what had to be one of the most exciting little league games played, NTLL pulled out a dramatic come from behind victory. There were 5 lead changes and 3 Home Runs all hit by New Tampa. Clayton Coringrato started the HR derby in the first inning by scorching a mammoth HR to right center. Spencer McCabe hit his second HR of the tournament. A 3-run blast to left in the 5th inning that put New Tampa up 6-4. The strong LOL team kept fighting back all night and pulled ahead 7-6 going into the 6th inning. With 2 out, no one on base and a 3-2 count, Henry Havre hit a dramatic game tying home run to right center! New Tampa added 5 more runs all with 2 outs and needed every bit of them as LOL fought back again to pull within 2. With NTLL up 12-9 LOL had the bases loaded with no outs when Bryce martin made the defensive play of the game. He scooped a sharply hit grounder at first, stepped on the bag and fired the ball down to second base for the double play!. After a hit batter, Clayton Coringrato had runners on second and third when he forced the final batter to ground out to the pitcher to seal the win. Jonathan Baughman pitched 4 innings and gave up only 4 runs while striking out 8 batters. Clayton Coringrato scored 4 times and Spencer McCabe ended with 5 RBI's. Eddie Thinger caught all 6 innings and was masterful behind the plate.Aaron Guiang scored 3 more times and Mikey Culumber was solid at SS. This was Little League at it's finest!  NTLL advances to championship game on Friday, June 26th 6:30pm at LOL.
June 26 Game Summary 
NTLL 9/10 BB Team #1 win 5-4 over LOL Gold -   New Tampa staged their third consecutive come from behind victory with a thrilling Tournament clinching 5-4 victory over the very strong LOL Gold team. Bryce Martin pitched a remarkable 3 1/3 innings of relief giving up just 1 hit while striking out 7 and retiring the final 9 LOL batters in order! New Tampa jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first when Aaron Guiang singled and advanced Clayton Coringrato to 3B who eventually scored on a wild pitch. LOL came back with 2 in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd to take a 4-1 lead. LOL held NTLL to just one hit through 4 innings before they erupted for 4 runs in the top of the 5th. The inning started with Bryce Martin hitting a double to right center. Everrett Harris then ripped a single to score Bryce. Henry Havre then hit a double to make the score 4-3. Zack Belusic then came up and hit a rope down the 1B line that hit the 1B bag  and rolled down the line scoring Mikey Culumber with the tying run. Jonathan Baughman than hit another single moving Jefferey Gutentag to 3B and no outs. Aaron Guiang hit a fielders choice to 2B that brought home the eventual winning run. NTLL wins the 9 /10 FL District 25 Championship and moves on to play in the FL Section 4 tournament  July 17 - 18.
