Spring 2010 Registration Forms and Information - UPDATED 11/18/09

2010 REGISTRATION FORM (click here)
From November 15 - January 30, 2009 - Regular Registration Sign-Up
(Regular registration fees are $85[ages 5-6]; $125[ages 7-14])
Mandatory copy of player birth certificate, applicable registration fees + forms, and a SEPARATE CHECK for $25, for player evaluations. Check to be returned after evaluations.
2010 PLAYER & PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT (click here)
This form must be signed by BOTH the player (regardless of age) + (1) parent/guardian.
2010 SPRING SEASON IMPORTANT DATES FLYER (click here)
The purpose of this flyer is to provide some important upcoming dates to our league family.
Parents/Guardians who are interested in becoming a manager/coach/team parent, etc. must submit for a MANDATORY background screening, through ASA - REQUIRED BY ALL VOLUNTEERS. Please look under our "League Forms" tab for additional paperwork and forms needed for consideration.

"Early Registration" will be held on the following dates (a $20-$25 discount applies for early registration ONLY):
Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Columbia Park (Torrance, CA) between 9a - 3p.
Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Columbia Park (Torrance, CA) between 9a - 3p.
(Our registration tables will be located near the snackbar on the 186th Street side)
"Regular Registration" will be held on the following dates:
Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Hamilton Field (Torrance, CA) between 9a - 3p.
Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Hamilton Field (Torrance, CA) between 9a - 3p.
A MANDATORY CHECK OF $25.00 IS REQUIRED FOR PLAYER EVALUATION. This check will be returned/shredded once evaluations have been completed.
Please bring a photocopy of your child's birth certificate, along with your payment. NO PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIRED!

They took 1st Place in our own NTGSL Summer Slam 15.5 All Star tournament.

Congratulations 12U Gold All Stars!
They took 1st Place in the Rancho Bernardo All Star tournament. They went UNDEFEATED the entire tournament.

*Alicia C., we are happy to report, is "ok" and was able to participate in the semi and championship games. (she suffered an injury during a previous game)

Davina currently holds the record for most home runs hit this season by any NTGSL player: 2 in La Mirada and 1 in District.

"OMG... it's a Grand Slam"
On Sunday, June 21st, Ryann G., of the 12U Silver All Star team, stepped up to the plate (facing 2 outs, bases loaded and 2 strikes) and hit a grand slam homerun to win the game against San Pedro. Final score 6-4.

On Thursday, May 7th, Alexis S., of the 10U Storm team, hit the 1st homerun over the small field fence, in a few seasons. She was even able to hit a parked car!

CIRCLE OF LOVE
So for those of you who did not know, one of our High School team parents suffered a major medical condition, while away at the national championship games. The event, of course, affected our NTGSL players/coaches/family. Here is a picture of our team saying a prayer for our team parent, as he was taken away in an ambulance to the local hospital.
 What we didn't expect is for this to also affect ALL of the remaining teams participating in the games. This is truly an amazing site.
These pictures shows the true spirit of people caring for the well-being of EVERYONE, not just people they know. Players from opposing teams, along with their families and friends, circled our players (who sat in the middle of the field) and said a prayer for our team. (Special thanks to Daniel of PYL Hectic II (Placentia, CA) for the photo here).

On Saturday, March 21st, Elisa M. hit her first homerun with NTGSL.
Elisa M., of the 12U Bat Busters, also hit the very 1st homerun over our new homerun/outfield fence.
