YMCA SummerBall
2009 SEASON WILL BEGINS JUNE 15th!
You can now register over the phone! Just call the Northshore YMCA (425.485.9797) and we can get you registered for SummerBall!
Here is your kids chance to put on a hat and glove and give America’s favorite pastime a try. Our Summerball program is for boys and girls ages 3 - 8 to learn the fundamentals of t-ball/baseball such as throwing, catching, hitting and base running. We have beginners t-ball for ages 3-4, advanced t-ball for age 4-6 and coach pitch for 6-8 year olds. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn America's pastime
Volunteers are a vital part of YMCA youth sports. Parents and coaches provide the power of instruction, support and encouragement that build winning spirits in our youth. Volunteers also provide the time and resources that help make our leagues successful. Make a difference in the life of a child, volunteer your time to coach this summer! The more coaches we can get, the more teams we can fill.
AGE DIVISIONS: (Roster size will depend on the number of coaches this season)
-
Rookie League (Beginner T-ball): 3-4 year olds
-
Minor League ("Advanced" T-ball): 4, 5 & 6 year olds
-

SummerBall Rainout Policy
If a scheduled practice or game is going to be rained out, the Northshore YMCA will make the decision at 3:00pm. Coaches or assigned parent should call the Northshore YMCA for information. Coaches or assigned parent will then be responsible to notify team members if practice or game is cancelled. If at 3:00pm the fields are not rained out, all decisions on cancellations will be made by the YMCA site coordinator at the field. All efforts will be made to reschedule all rain outs based on field availability from the Northshore School District.
