Welcome to the North Suburban Slammers Web site. The North Suburban Slammers began play during 2001 with six teams at four different age levels. This effort is a joint venture of Niles Township High School District #219 and the softball programs of Skokie, Lincolnwood, and Morton Grove, but players from other communities are welcome to participate.

The goal of the Slammers organization is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere in which to play softball at a competitive level, and to strengthen our high school programs via our program and strong community house leagues.

We expect our teams to be very competitive, and we expect a strong commitment from every player. But we also want the experience to be fun for players and their families, and we recognize that players have other interests and responsibilities beyond softball.

We work closely with the coaching staffs at our community high schools, and all of our coaches have significant coaching experience.

* This is a 'B' tournament for 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U   (Update 4/22/12--only 1 opening at 16U still available) For a listing of teams currently registered, see Handouts Section.

* 4 game guarantee (weather permitting), 3 pool play games into single elimination 

* Free passes to the Skokie Water Playground for all players and coaches  

* Team trophies and individual awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in each division  

* Concession stands and Splash T-shirts available  

* Games will be played at fields in Skokie and Lincolnwood, IL
