Congrats to Brunswick, Detroit Jet Box, Canton Stallions and Easton Huskies on making it to the AABC Stan Musial & NABF Major Division World Series. All 4 teams played well. Be sending in your nominations for the NSPBA & ASPBA All American Teams. In 2009 we will be back, I will only rank and honor teams who affiliate with us so pass the word. DETROIT JET BOX WINS 5TH ANNUAL NSPBA WORLD SERIES "War With The Sticks" !
Jim Corte's Post season magic continues as his Detroit, MI Jet Box Baseball Club outlasted fellow Michigan and AABC Powerhouse Flint Halo Burger / Foutch Auto to win the 5th Annual NSPBA World Series 7 to 6 in 10 innings. Flint had forced a 2nd Championship Game by winning 4 to 1 earlier in the day. Thanks to Phil Kliber (08 NASPBA Hall of Fame Inductee) and the town of Manistee, MI for being a great host. Watch as both Flint and Jet Box fight their way through the AABC & NABF Major Division Regionals this week.

The 5th Annual NSPBA World Series opens play up thursday July 31st. Reining NABF National Champs Detroit Jet Box and AABC WS Power Flint Halo highlight the field.

13th Annual United States Baseball Congress World Series was held in Ft. Wayne, Indiana over the July 4th week-end. The Portland, IN Rockets defeated the Detroit, MI Metro Tigers to garner thier first ever National Title.

4th Annual ASPBA World Series was held this past week-end in Hattiesburg, MS. Thomasville, Alabama Travelers won thier 2nd National Title (Travelers won the USBC WS in 2002) beating Pine Bluff, Ark. Braves 10 to 6 in the finals. Note (Torry Hunter once played for the Braves).
