WEATHER PROCEDURE: During the summer you will encounter rain or severe weather. Following is the weather procedure used by NSPAA Slow Pitch Softball.
WEATHER CANCELATIONS: If this web site does not list the cancelation or you are not notified by the league director or your team coach that your game has been canceled, show up for your scheduled game time. After 5:00pm, games are called on a game by game basis. You will forfeit the game if you fail to show up for your scheduled game time.
WEATHER SUSPENSIONS: If a game is suspended due to the weather, do not go home. If the weather conditions and field conditions allow for the continuation of the game within 30 minutes of the suspension, the game will be restarted at the point it was suspended. Do not leave until the umpire and league director have directed you to do so. A game that can not be restarted in 30 minutes may be regulation if 4 or more innings have been played, or if the Home Team is leading after 3 ½ innings. Games that are not regulation will be started from the beginning.
