Brought to you by the NYSA United Club, and open to all U12 - U18 players that were registered last year in NYSA.
The Tuesday night sessions begin April 7th and continuing every Tuesday night, except on April 21st, until our Northshore Select (NSC) tryouts in late May. The number of teams and layout is completely based around whoever shows up.
The 4-a-side tournament format includes players randomly forming teams of up to 4 individuals (age and gender appropriate). Each team would play 4, 10-minute games. The individuals in the various teams rotate throughout the evening and an individual would be crowned champ in each age and gender group. Registration occurs on-site (it's FREE). This event is open to all NYSA players U12 – U18 from last year to attend.
The essentials of street soccer is to let the kids play and to let them make up the rules [In touch/out of touch; foul/no foul; goal/no goal]. The only important thing is for all parties to agree upon is the final score. Ties are acceptable. .
The kids simply play soccer.
