NRHS BASEBALL ALUMNI STAR IN 2005 COLLEGE BASEBALL
Several former Huguenots have had successful seasons on their
respective college teams. Chris Lopez and Mike Tocci (NRHS 2001)
have been impact players at Iona College and Concordia as seniors.
Chris Dibiaso (NRHS 2002) is the starting thirdbaseman at SUNY Stonybrook
this season as a junior where he has had a multi homerun game. College teammate Tommy Koehler (NRHS 2004) has been a weekend starter as a freshman and has pitched successfully against top programs like Vermont, Princeton, and Maine. Eric Fama (NRHS 2004) has been the closer for Rhode Island College this season. Eric helped close out the LEC Championship and send Rhode Island to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 25 years with 3 & 1/3 innings of scoreless pitching.
