NRGSL: History

NRGSL was started in 1983 with one field and a handful of caring parents. In the 25 years since then NRGSL has:
- Grown to be the premier fast pitch league in North Texas
- Expanded to 18 high quality select teams
- Expanded from 4 teams and 50 girls in 1983 to a high of 53 teams and 650 girls
- Expanded to seven fields including the new Walker's Creek Park complex
- Hosts nearly 300 teams a year for tournament play
- Hosts over 100,000 players, parents and fans annually
By providing girls an opportunity to play softball, our GOALS are to develop ALL girls, promote team spirit, enjoy the sport of softball, and to teach good sportsmanship to all girls, coaches, parents and fans.
