Wanda Martin McGill (Executive Director)

Wanda has been teaching classical ballet and contemporary dance in the Bay Area and Napa Valley for over twenty years. She received her ballet performance education at Dance Theatre of Harlem in New York City and studied contemporary dance at The Alvin Ailey School. Returning to the Bay Area, she continued studies with Alonzo King, Director of Lines Contemporary Ballet in San Francisco.
Wanda holds graduate level K-12 and Community College credentials in the areas of Fine Art and Dance. She has taught at Napa and Solano Colleges and has been a member of the dance department faculty at Diablo Valley Colleges since 1981. She directed her own contemporary ballet company, Visual Moves, which performed in the Bay Area along with producing numerous dance productions for the colleges and the community. Wanda continues to provide professional dance education to hundreds of students each year and maintains the business operations for Napa Regional Dance Company.

Carlo Sierras (Faculty)

Carlo Sierras, a native of Phoenix Arizona, left home to perform the corps de ballet for the Hartford Ballet for two seasons. He returned home to perform with Ballet Arizona as a soloist for three seasons. He continues to perform and guest artist both the Oakland Ballet and the San Francisco Opera both nationally and internationally. Carlo joined the teaching faculty of Napa Regional Dance Company in 2003.

Sydney Martin (Faculty)

Sydney Martin, a Bay Area resident and recent graduate of Saint Mary's College in Moraga CA. She has been dancing and performing for the past eight years. Trained in perfromance Jazz and Choreography, Sydney manages the contemporary program at Napa Regional Dance Company and also is an ensemble member of Coterie Dance Company. Sydney joined the teaching faculty of Napa Regional Dance Company in 2005

Gina Illingworth (Guest Faculty)

Gina Illingworth, Director of Mercyhurst Performing ArtsCollege in Ohio, Former Soloist with the Clevland Ballet and the National Ballet of Norway. Gina provides additional summer intensive training to resident dancers of Napa Regional Dance Company.

Angela Flanagan-Tarter (Guest Master Teacher&Marketing)

Born in San Ramon, Angela began dancing at the age of three. She has studied at several studios throughout the Bay Area such as Andre's School of Dance, San Ramon Valley Dance Academy, Studio A, Alice Arts Center of Oakland and Dance Connection PAC. In high school, she traveled throughout California as a member of Clayton Valley High Schools undefeated Winterguard and Colorguard. Angela furthered her dance training under Wanda Martin-McGill, Debra Floyd, and Joan Burke at Diablo Valley College. Angela has danced professionally for several Bay Area sports teams and was the Director of RHIs Sacramento River Rats dance team. She has appeared in two music videos, was a member of Studio As adult competitive dance team, and the coach for Vintage High Schools nationally qualified competitive dance team. In 1996, Angela taught a Master class at NRDC and has been teaching there ever since. In 2001, she received her degree in Business Management and Human Resources. After ten years of teaching at NRDC, Angela and her family have relocated to Albuquerque, NM. Angela will stay on staff as a Guest Master Teacher.
