North Penn Wrestling Middle School Open House
Wednesday December 7th / 6:30 to 8:00 pm
Penndale Middle School, Upper Gym

North Penn High School and North Penn Youth Wrestling (NPYW) invite all middle school wrestlers and their parents to an Open House with North Penn High School’s head wrestling coach, Robert Shettsline, and 2-time PA State wrestling champion and assistant wrestling coach, Zac Fryling as well as the Middle school and NPYW coaching staffs.

This Open House will provide an opportunity to come together as a wrestling community and give the families that are new to the sport a brief overview of what to expect and a chance to answer any questions they may have.

This wrestling session will promote “North Penn’s Style of Wrestling”. It will include a clinic on the following three areas so please come to this meeting ready to wrestle:

•        Basic wrestling techniques
•        Drilling from all 3 positions (defensive / offensive / neutral)
•        Live wrestling

More Handouts:
  • Eagles Block Fundraiser - North Penn Youth Wrestling Super Bowl Fundraiser 2012 This is a fundraising idea for the 2012 Super Bowl and involves a standard 100 square football grid. This is a fun way to raise money for the team and with participation by all can be a very successful fundraiser. We will use these funds to help fund our storage unit rental fee for the year . Instructions: The football grid needs to be filled with 100 participants, so to complete one grid we are asking that each family try to obtain a minimum of 2 donations. Each BLOCK is $20 Please complete all of the information on the ticket for each participant since the payout will be in the form of a check mailed directly to the winners. For each grid that we fill the total collected will be $2,000 and we will payout half of that money to winners. Completing one grid will be a very successful fundraiser. Once we fill the grid, the participant’s names will be randomly selected and placed in the football grid. The numbers (0-9) will be randomly selected for each row (NFC Champ) and (AFC Champ). These numbers will represent the ending number of the score for the NFC Champ and the AFC Champ. There will be a $200 payout at the end of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarters and a $400 payout for the final score. Please note that this fundraiser should not be misconstrued as gambling. The entire process is random. Even though the payout is associated with the score of the Super Bowl, the placement of the names and numbers 0-9 are randomly selected and completed before the game begins. The participant does not get to select their grid location nor will they know the numbers associated with each location before the random selection process is completed.
