2008 Cheerleading Program

The North Penn Squires have gone through a major growth stage in Cheerleading. We more than doubled our cheerleaders in 2007 and expect to grow even more for the 2008 season. We will continue to build upon that momentum to be a first-class cheering program. Cheering adds excitement to our football games and completes the Squires family atmosphere. It is always our goal for families to participate in every aspect of our program-both football and cheerleading. We now have a fully engaged program for girls aged 5-14 and are looking forward to being able to have individual squads assigned to specific football lb teams. It is our goal to achieve that for the 2008 season.

Our flexible cheerleading practices are typically 2-4 nights per week from 6:00 to 8:00 pm starting early in August. Then once school starts, practices go to 1-2 nights per week. Games are usually on Saturdays though some games may occur on Sundays afternoons from mid-September through early November. All girls will cheer with the age-appropriate teams whenever possible.

We look forward to an exciting Football/Cheering Season in 2008.
