| 8U Gold captures 2nd place at Santa Paula tourney

ALL-STAR TOURNAMENTS
Good luck to the 8U Gold and 10U Gold at the Goleta Beat the Heat tourney!
June 30th: Great job at Districts to the 12U Gold who advanced in bracket play by eliminating Camarillo and El Rio. The 10U Gold also advanced eliminating Ventura, while the 8U Gold came one game shy of the semi-finals eliminating Moorpark and Ventura.
June 23rd: Great job 8U Gold for taking home 2nd place at the Santa Paula tourney this weekend! Congrats also to the 10U Silver team for making it the semi-finals at Morro Bay. Great job Emily S. for the game winning double against Goleta and Natalie K. for the centerfield homerun shot against Yucaipa.
June 16th: All the teams played hard and did great this past weekend at the Five Cities tournament in Arroyo Grande. 10U Gold took 1st, 12U Gold took 3rd, and 8U Gold took 3rd, respectively. Great job Suzie S. for the grand slam and Fiona K. the the mile-long homerun!
June 9th: Good job to all teams this weekend at the Moorpark tournament. The 10U Gold team battled back from two early losses to upset WAGS and Santa Paula to face West Covina in the championship game where they took 2nd place.

WINTER BALL
Winter ball is a great chance to get experience in the next division up or sharpen softball skills in between seasons. Cost varies depending on the number of girls on the team, but usually runs about $85-$100. Games are Sunday double-headers in Thousand Oaks, Moorpark or Simi Valley and the season runs September-October.
