Welcome to Novato South Little League!!!

Opening Day is This Saturday!!

Mark your calendars for our Opening Day Festivities at Dunphy Field, Saturday morning, March 13.  See the parade of teams and all the special surprises we have in store!  All players, families and friends are welcome.  Follow this page for more details.
 
 Hamilton fields are open for practice as of Tuesday, March 9 

 Before practicing, call the Hotline (721-1690) to make sure fields are open.  

All schedules are posted! 

Highlights for the upcoming season include: 

  • Our Major League teams play 21 regular season games this year, up from 18 in past years.  We will play each of the 9 teams in Novato American and Novato North this year, plus the other teams in Novato South three times each.  
  • Our Minor Leaguers will again play 18 games, including three interleague games and three games each at Dunphy Field (the Major League Field!).  
  • Our Rookie Leaguers will play 14 games this year, up from 12 last year, including a season-ending game at Dunphy Field.
  • Our T-Ballers play 15 games each, including a season-ending game at either our Major or Minor League Field.

New Scoreboard at Dunphy! 
Thanks to the generosity of the  Rotary Club of Ignacio, we have a new scoreboard at Dunphy Field in time for the 2010 Little League season.  Installation occured on February 27, 2010.  We'll post pictures on this site soon.  We encourage folks to come out and check out our new scoreboard!  Also, check out a link to the Rotary Club's website on our "Links" page.
Fun, new information on our Website!
We've added three new sections to our website: The Homerun Log will track every homerun hit in the Major and Minor Leagues in the 2010 season.  The All-Stars & Awards section lists all our players selected to an All-Star team, plus all winners of the Hamman Award for Sportsmanship.  The Past Champions section lists the teams that have won our Major and Minor League championships over the past several years.  Click on the respective tabs on the left for more information.
Save the Day: April 11, 2010 is Little League day at AT&T Park! 
Mark you calendar for this fun event!  Watch the San Francisco Giants play the Atlanta Braves with all your friends from Little League.  You can purchase tickets by contacting the League Hotline at 721-1690 or from your team Manager.  You can also purchase tickets during our Opening Day Ceremonies at Dunphy Field on Saturday, March 13.

There are 3 Little League Organizations that serve the youth of Novato. Novato South Little League serves Southern Novato, including Hamilton and Ignacio.
