Player Waivers
For some children, the Majors Division level of play is not the best fit. Little League International has left it up to the parent to have the final say as to whether their child is ready to play in the Majors. The end result - the responsibility of player readiness - is placed on the parents of the player, not on the coaches who draft them.
About the Major League Division
The Majors Division has a level of play significantly higher than the Minors Division. The players in the Majors Division should expect:
1) Much faster pitching
2) More difficult defensive situations due to harder hit balls
3) Harder/faster throws from teammates.
The Parent's Role
If, after considering these factors, you would like your child to be removed from the Majors draft, please complete the appropriate form below and bring it to your child's try-outs time. 9 year-olds do not need waivers to play in the Minors.
12 Year-Old Waiver to play in Minors
10-11 Year-Old Waiver to play in Minors
Rookie Waivers
If you have a 9 year-old player who you would like to remove from the Minors draft so that he or she can play in the Rookie league, please complete the following form and drop it off at try-outs on Saturday or Sunday.
For ALL waiver requests, please contact Donald Army, Player Agent at PlayerAgent.NSLL@gmail.com to alert him of your wishes. Waiver requests must be received by Saturday, January 28th. If your child is trying out on Sunday, please let Donald know that your waiver will be coming on Sunday; however, we need to know your intention by Saturday.
Please see our Tryouts & Draft tab for more information.
Good luck to all players trying out!
