We will be going over our 2012 Playing Rules with our Umpire Association.
This is a VERY IMPORTANT meeting!

Norwalk Girls Softball Association (NGS) is a non-profit girls fast pitch Amateur Softball Association (ASA) league. NGS features divisions for ages 4-16. We are committed to helping the young girls of our community. Our intention are to promote sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, confidence, and health through the game of Softball.
We welcome adult volunteers to join our program. New 2008 ASA rules require all managers to be ACE certified to manage an All Star Team. It is not required for you to be certified to manage or coach a rec-ball team. Also, ASA rules require All volunteers from Board Members, Managers, Coaches and Team Moms to have their background checked by ASA. Forms are in the Document/Handout Section.
Girls of all skill levels are welcome to join NGS, no experience is required. Our home fields are located at Los Alisos Middle School in Norwalk. We look forward to seeing you at the fields!
ATTENTION:
THE GATES OPEN AT 4:00 PM M-F SO PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EARLIER. IT WILL BE OPEN ALL DAY ON THE WEEKENDS. NO DOGS, NO SMOKING, NO DRINKING OF ANY ALCOHOL ON ANY SITES. PLEASE PICK UP ALL TRASH AFTER EVERY GAME OR PRACTICE. WE ARE GUESTS SO PLEASE FOLLOW THE RULES.
BOARD MEETINGS WILL BE HELD EVERY FIRST AND THIRD WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS THE BOARD PLEASE SEE YOUR COMMISSIONER AND THEY WILL GIVE YOU MORE INFORMATION. MEETING STARTS AT 7:00 PM AT THE SNACK BAR.
