Welcome to Ram Country! The Northwood Football League (NFL) family would like to welcome you to our home. Our mission is to provide athletic, academic, cultural, and mentoring programs that seek to cultivate good sportsmanship, self confidence a spirit of excellence in each of our participants, as well as, coaches and board of directors. Maryland Football and Cheer Association honored its student athletes with a scrimmage game at Ravens Stadium at halftime of the Ravens vs. Jets pre-season game. Northwood Football Association was represented by Dionte Austin (#1), Donte Ramsuer (#7) and Akil Hamm (#19) from the Pee-wee division. Congratulations to these young men for not only showing leadership on the football field but also in the classroom.
These young men represented Northwood and the MFCA well. Dionte Austin (QB) connected on a pass for the only score of the game. Donte and Akil both played on defense and each recorded sacks. Great job guys. Great job to the MFCA for allowing the young men the opportunity of a lifetime to play in a professional stadium in front of thousands of fans and rewarding them for thier work in the classroom. Job well done by all.
