Opening Day Ceremonies: 
What at WONDERFUL day!!  Thank you to all of the NWGS family and friends for coming out and showing your support for the girls!!  A special thanks to the many parents who jumped in and helped where needed to make this event such a success!  Have a fun and safe season!!
 
      
Registration is still open for the 2010 Spring Season for
16U girls.  Play Day for 16U will be on Friday March 19th,
field #1 from 7-9pm.  Contact the Player Advocate for questions. 
Please spread the word to your friends and family.

 Private Lesson and Skills Instuctors
NWGS will again be offering free pitching/catching lessons to interested girls.  Pitching lessons will be given by Sharon Nichols.  Catching lessons will be given by Shan McDonald and Chris McDonald.  The next lesson is:
March 14th    -   Pitching  12:30 – 2 pm at Lied Middle School
   Please bring a parent or someone to catch for you,
3 balls and a bucket for your catcher to sit on (if they'd like).         
                  
  
A.C.E. is up and running.  You MUST RECEIVE A WELCOME EMAIL TO GET CERTIFIED.  DO NOT TRY AND REGISTER YOURSELF.  Most teams have sent in the requested information.  If the requested information has not been received, you will not get your welcome letter. 
No A.C.E. = No Coaching!!

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well and everyone is gearing up for a great 2010 season.  We are narrowing down quickly here.  The team is excited and our schedule should bring some great games here to Las Vegas.  I hope that you have the chance to come out and watch.  If any of you have teams that you would like to bring to a game, simply contact me the week of the game (the Monday before) and we'll get your players and coaches on the "pass list" for games.  If your daughters/players are under the age of 12, they are free no matter what.  

Also, please look ahead to some of these dates on the schedule!  We look forward to seeing you at the ball park!! Go Rebs!!!

Thursday Feb. 18, 2010 - 7:15 UNLV vs. Boise State - 2nd Annual NorthWest Girls Softball Day - Autographs to follow for North West Girls League Members and free shirts to first 200 girls.  (Contact your coach if you are part of this league)

Sunday March 7, 2010 - 2:30 pm UNLV vs. Cal - Southwest League Day (Contact your coach if you are part of this league)

Friday April 9 2010 - 6:00 pm UNLV vs. Colorado State - Mt. West Conference Opener - $1 Tickets/$1 Hotdogs

Saturday April 10 and Sunday April 11 - First 150 kids receive free rebel wristbands

Thursday May 6 2010 - UNLV vs. Utah - Buy one get one free Tickets

Friday May 7 2010 - 6:00 pm UNLV vs. BYU - YOUTH NIGHT - $1 hotdogs if you wear uniform - kids 12 and under free!
