Every year the Northview Athletic Boosters have come through with both financial support as well as membership who have worked hand in hand with the softball team and its coaches. Their active envolvement plays a major role in the success of the softball program.

The support and envolvement of the Northview Softball Parents is well documented throughout the state. Who else would start up an organization complete with "Officers" and are called " The Fence Dads."Everywhere we go we get positve remarks from everyone. The rides, the work, the helping out, the volunteering, the friendship, the time, the $$$, all make this program what it is.THANKS

There grows each year a group of former parents, friends of the program,knowledgeable softball people from other schools that follow us, many Northview community members that have remained involved with us throughout the years. This group just keep getting large and larger. They also are valuable members of our program.

The Northview Softball Fans
|
|
I wrote in another section that the NV softball fans are legendary throughout the state. What other school can boast that when they travel another city they have more fans there than any other school including the home school ? Are there any games during the season where our opponents have more people there than we do? The following that we have throughout the year and especially during our annual state tournament run,still after all these years, is still amazing to me. This is just a small tribute to the sponsorship that so many people have taken in our program. It is just another of the many great chapters that make up Northview Softball.

The Players

None of this would have been possible without the tremendous contributions of so many players spanning the years from 1976 when we started this up to the 2005 team. Both parents and players understand what price you have to pay to be successful. Add up the hours, the extra time, the staying after practice, the winter hours, the extra ground balls by the bucket full, the tee work after everyone else has gone home,the Jud "will you hit me some fly balls", the Saturday work, the Sunday work, the road work when no one knows you are putting in those extra miles, all add up to what we have today.
