Mark Twain Field Useage/Permit Guidelines
Mark Twain Field Permit Guidelines:
Mark Twain Middle School will be available to North Venice Little League Teams as of Thursday, March 1st. The fields are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. We are not allowed to use the fields Saturday and Sunday. Please help us adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Please do not drive cars onto the school grounds, specifically the blacktop area next to the practice fields, for any reason. Cars are not allowed on the blacktop area. 2. If the gates are locked, DO NOT CLIMB THE FENCE TO ENTER THE FIELD. A locked gate means that the field is not available, and we will deal with LAUSD on that issue if it occurs. 3. There is NO hitting allowed by ANY child at the field. ONLY ADULTS are allowed to swing bats, and then only to hit fungoes to the kids. Kids should not even lift their bats to practice swinging. 4. Their is no alcohol allowed on the school premises. 5. All coaches, please do make sure that all your players have been picked up by parents or other responsible parties or by known siblings, etc, before you leave the practice fields. 6. All teams must pick up any and all debris they may have left at their practice site, such as water bottles, food containers etc. 7. Please do be completely respectful to the school staff, and comply with any requests they have regarding the field and their usage. If you have a problem with any such request please notify the division coordinator
