North Valleys Little leagues goal is going to bring our community back together by 2015. We are going to do this by having 2000 little leaguers by 2015. This will fill our restaurants and businesses full of happy families. We are going to bring back the family atmosphere to the North Valleys Baseball. Our goal is to make our Little League the happiest place for children and their families to be. This will be possible by continuing to better our facilities continuing to get new fields and maintain the ones we have. We will show our community how much we care about it and our own league by doing everthing possible we can. By having happy children and families this will let us focus on just having fun playing baseball which allows our youths to better themselves both playing ball and being in the community. We also believe in giving our children the best experience possible. We teach courage, loyalty, and respect.

We would like to give a special recognition to Coach Gouldsmith and the entire coaching staff from UNR Baseball/Softball for putting on a free coach clinic for our local Little Leagues!!!!!     Go Wolfpack

The question has been asked "What is the difference between Cal Ripken and Little League?" We are both non - profit leagues. We both develop the best baseball players around. Our league is all volunteer work starting from the coaches all the way to the umpires. North Valleys has three lighted fields for our use which helps extend play time and we have covered dug outs for the players to have coverage from the weather Both leagues have a snack bar to make sure our patrons are fed and well quenched. North Valleys Spring 2013 now has Intermediate (50/70) field for ages 11-13 to better prepare them for playing in their high school careers. Last year and this year Little Leagues have all started Jr., Sr. and Big league baseball for our older children around Washoe County with regulation fields. They have had positive turn out so many of the remaining Leagues around Washoe County are now participating. It has been noticed and a big concern that Babe Ruth has diminished in the amount of players in the Washoe County and we at Little League are unsure why. Little League is going to give all children another option for play. We are about fundamentals and teaching the game, how to win, how to cope with a loss and how the game should always be fun. Little League is now ages 4 to 16 so we can keep our players together to better their skills and experience. Cal Ripken has 4 leagues Silver State, Spanish Springs, Fernley, and Sun Valley. Little league has 12 leagues North Valleys, Sparks Centennial and National, Reno American and National, Washoe, North Tahoe and South Tahoe, Truckee, Reno Continental, Carson City and Carson Valley. Giving little leaguers the opportunity to play against more teams from around the area bettering their experience and giving them the strongest competition.
