Proudly introduces, Checkmate
It's revolutionary, it's original and it's safe! It's A.C.E. Checkmate. A.C.E., which stands for "A Checking Experience," is a life sized, weighted and padded checking dummy. It's the only mobile teaching aid for youth hockey with safety in mind. Practicing with the A.C.E. Checkmate dummy reduces the risk of injury, enables players to learn the proper checking techniques and, most of all, have fun on the ice.
A.C.E.. Checkmate is a mobile or stationary teaching device used to teach young children checking techniques. A.C.E. can be powered by the coach, or it can stand alone. Using this dummy is a real checking experience for all kids. The most important feature of checkmate is safety. First of all, your kids are not hitting each other in practice. Secondly, the kids are not afraid of the dummy and are less inhibited therefore providing them with an opportunity to complete their check. By learning and mastering the proper checking technique it will inherently lower the risk of injury to all kids. Practicing with A.C.E. heightens the players overall interest during drills. It’s durable, rugged, and solidly made. It’s a confidence builder for those kids who may be intimidated. It’s user friendly and simulates game conditions. A.C.E. can be used to incorporate offensive and defensive checking techniques. Learning the proper checking techniques will inevitably keep everyone safer.
