ALUMNI UPDATE
Great to see how well our current and former players and instructors that we have coached and/or have participated in our programs.
It was super to learn that the top four mites in the Masco Tournament shooting contest were from our North Shore Knights team. Way to go Eric, Perry, Chris, and Jake! Also we hear that Meghan Twomey and Eric Oines on the North Andover mites as well as Dakota Woodworth with the Agawam mites are doing awesome.
Squirt youth hockey action finds Woody Woodworth having a great year with the Minuteman Flames while his pals Tim Houston and Paul Demitruck are doing terrific with the Dual State Huskies and Riverwolves. In addition, Danny Haugh and Tommy Gallagher are helping the Warriors to achieve another great season. And as expected, the Reading trio of Dominque, Michael, and Quinlan are doing a tremendous job for their Reading squirt teams.
In the Peewee age group, check out how much Danny Shea and Michael Twomey have helped their North Andover teams out this year with their hard work and great play.
On the local high school scene, Dan Crowley and Chris Capraro are having a great year at Austin Prep while Frank Lange is doing awesome at Matignon for Marty Pierce.
Also great to hear that Stacey and Haley are doing well for the Cushing Academy womens team. It must have been all those games and practices with the Wakefield boys.
In college play, Josh Pruden is having a great season at UNH while Rob Houston is doing a terrific job between the pipes for Connecticut College and TJ Vahdala is doing well at Suffolk University. Saw Tommy Welby in a spectacular game against U of Maine last Saturday allowing only one goal to preserve a 1-1 tie for Merrimack. And let us not forget Eric Pederson, one of our former North Shore Raider players who also had a great game on defense for Merrimack.
And speaking of former North Shore Raiders, Ricky D. is doing a great job in net for the NY Islanders and only needs some scoring help to make it an even better year.
