Thursday, May 31
After the holiday weekend, and a rainoutWalsh Park was busy with a full set of games. The pitching machines stayed busy as with four games being played. In Rookie Baseball, the Mariners defeated the Phillies 18-4, the Mets stopped the Cardinals 18-10, and in the night cap the Rockies need an extra inning to beat the Cubs 20-19 on Logan Wade's base hit in the seventh inning. In Rookie Softball, the Stingers stopped the Lady Sluggers 13-10. In Major Baseball big inning helped the Cardinals prevail over the reds 10-8 and the Yankees took care of the Giants 10-8. In Minor Baseball the A's stopped the Royals 15-13. In Minor Softball the Lightning downed the Knockouts 11-1.

Wednesday Games in our Junior League Baseball Division at the Oldham County High School have been canceled and rescheduled for Thursday, May 31 at the Same time

Games at Walsh Park, fields are ready and the bathrooms are working game time starts at 6:00pm

The Memorial Weekend got started Friday at Walsh Park. It was hot and the bats were busy. in Major Baseball, the redsoxs downed the Reds 13-2. In the Second game the A's topped the Cardinal 3-2. In Minor baseball, the Bluejays came away with 8-2 win against the Orioles. in Minor Softball, the Lady Sluggers held on 5-4 over the Fillies. In Rookie Baseball the Mets defeated the Rangers 12-9 and the Cardinals came out on top against the Redsoxs 7-5. In Rookie Softball, the Slammers beat the Stingers 12-9
