All players that attends or if they have a sibling that plays and attends Buckner, Centerfield, East Oldham Middle School, LaGrange, Locust Grove, OCMS and OCHS schools are eligible to play at North Oldham Little League. Some players that attend Harmony, NOMS, and NOHS that live in North Oldham Little League boundaries are eligble to play here.
Tuesday, May 23
With great weather Walsh Park was busy Monday night with some exciting games that had good pitching, good hitting and great defensive plays. In Major Baseball, the Yankees topped the Indians 5-2. The Rangers edged Trimble County 11-10. In Major Softball, the Fire took down the Slammers 17-10. In Minor baseball, the Pirates knocked off the Angels by a score 18-17. In Minor softball, the Lightning scored in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Stingers 7-6. In Rookie Baseball, the undefeated Reds survived the Whitesoxs over coming a 6-3 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning as Cooper Doyle had the game winning hit to win 7-6. Saturday, May 20
With some rain Saturday morning the fields at Walsh Park were ready to go at game time and the weather was great for ball games for the rest of the day.
In Major baseball, the Giants won in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat the Yankees 6-5. The Yankees Ethan Mutchler hit his first homerun of the season. In the second game the Redsoxs took care of the Indians 15-5. the Dodgers finished the day with 6-3 win over Trimble County.
In Major Softball, the Slammers defeated Henry County 20-5 and the Lady SLuggers defeated the Trimble County 10-2.
In Minor baseball, the Pirates knocked off the Tigers 9-4. The Orioles defeated the Twins 11-5. The A's held off the Angels to win 9-8.
In Minor Softball, the Fillies knocked off South Oldham 13-6 and the Lightning defeated South Oldham 17-9. In Rookie Baseball, the Reds held off the Yankees 13-10, the Cardinals took care of the Mets 17-5, and the Whitesoxs stopped the Brewers 21-8.
In Rookie Softball, the Bombers defeated South Oldham 9-5 and the Slammers lost South Oldham 8-3. The Knockouts traveled to South Oldham and picked up 15-3 win. Visit the game links for game highlights.
Saturday, May 20
Despite the rain and several lightning delays the field held up and we were able to get all the games done except one game at Walsh Park Friday night. In Major Baseball, the Bluejays defeated the Rangers 18-7. In the nightcap, The Nationals Xander Townsend hit his fifth homerun of the season in the first inning as they beat the Dodgers 15-7. In Minor baseball, the Phillies handed the Rockies their first loss with 11-6 win. In Minor Softball, the Fillies took down the Stingers 13-11. In Rookie Baseball, the Royals bounced back to beat the D-backs 9-3. The Marlins and Mariners game was stopped in the third inning and will be finished on Sunday, May 21st at 2:00pm.
