What are evaluations? Each year, evaluations are held to determine the level of playing ability of each player. Players are also evaluated at the end of each season by their current coach. The intent is to give each coach a chance to see all of the players play so that fair & equitable teams are drafted. Participation in evaluations is mandatory. This is for new and returning players. Select Division players will not be required to attend evaluations. Parents will be notified via e-mail or the NNH website, Facebook & Twitter @nashvillehoops as to when evaluations will occur.
What does the draft process consist of? Each team will be selected through the draft process. The draft for each division will consist of the head coach from each team as well as a NNH Board member. Parents will be notified by their coach when the draft is complete. The players in the Select Division will not be required to be drafted.

The Select Division will also have an end of the season tournament. There will be an additional cost for the pre-season tournament but not the end of the season tournament. Can I request a particular coach for my child? Each team will be allowed to "sign" one player. This will be a player/coach agreement form that both the coach & parent must sign prior to the draft. If you are interested in a particular coach, we would suggest that you tell that coach and ask the coach to consider drafting your child. In the pre-K & K training league we will do our best to honor all request.
Can I request that my child not get a particular coach? Yes. Note your request on your registration form or contact a NNH representative to advise them of your request.
If I have multiple children playing in the same division, will they be on the same team? Yes, but please make sure that you note that on your registration form.
Who do I contact if I have a concern about a particular game, coach or official? There is a chain of command that you should follow. First, discuss with your coach about the situation and he will pass your concern on to the commissioner of your division. If the problem is with the coach, then second you should contact the commissioner of your particular division. All of the commissioner email contacts are listed under the board member tab on the homepage. If you are not satisfied at this point, you can contact the President or Vice President via email that is also listed under the board member tab. We just ask that you follow the chain of command to cut down on the issues being put on the desk of the President or Vice President. We have established commissioners of each division for this reason, as well as having them to answer any questions about your particular division. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
