COACHING AND UMPIRE CLINICS

NMLL is offering two coaching clinics free to NMLL parents, coaches and volunteers.  NMLL encourages all parents attend.  Coaching clinics will be offered on February 27 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Hawkins Middle School Gym and on April 11 at the North Kitsap Auditorium (more information to come on  this second clinic date).  An umpires' clinic, with lunch provided, will be offered on February 13 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Olympic College.  Anyone (including coaches) who will be umpiring must attend this free clinic.  These clinics are intended for adults only.

BATTING CAGES AND INFIELD GRASS!!

NMLL is very excited about the new batting cages we are installing between fields 4 & 5 at Sandhill Park.  We are also making improvements to fields 5 & 6 at Sandhill Park.  Through the generous donations of many individuals and the Home Depot, fields 5 & 6 will now have grass infields as well as sprinkler systems to help keep the grass green.  Updates on these additions as well as other happenings will be posted regularly, so check back often.

UNIFORMS

This year we will not be collecting the uniform deposit at registration time.  It will now be collected when uniforms are handed out to the players.

COACHES

We are again in need of coaches for this year!  If you are interested, please contact either NMLL President Richard Knight or NMLL Vice-President Rod Benson.  Check back for more information.  NMLL is planning on conducting a couple of coaching clinics.  The coaching clinics will be open to all who are interested and NMLL is encouraging all who plan to coach to attend.

 SPONSORS

NMLL is also looking for sponsors for the next season.  If you are a past sponsor or someone newly interested, we are interested in hearing from you!  We have had tremendous community support in the past and hope for that to continue.  Check out last season's sponsors' business information on our website by clicking on the Sponsors link to the left.

FUNDRAISERS

NMLL appreciates all the time, energy, and money donated.  We couldn't do it without those donations and dollars raised during these fundraisers.  Thank you again for all your support!

NMLL is always looking for volunteers to help make a great season of baseball for the kids.  If interested contact one of the board members to see how you can help out.

If you are interested in getting more involved and have the time, please contact Richard Knight or attend the next meeting for more information.
