Clarkston Chiefs

Please remember Ken McClendan at your games today with a moment of silence. He was instrumental in the creating of the NYFL.

Let me first start off by congradulating the Clarkston franchise for a clean sweep at the Super Bowls. Also for the other teams that participated. Next a congradulatory message to the 2 Pontiac Panther players (Jam'Mar Antwine, Kahlee Hamler) that were nominated, and participated in the Football University Top Gun camp in Orlando, FL. This camp was a nomination only camp. Finally the 2009 season is here... Lets play some football!

Former President Clarkston Chiefs

I would like to say that I am experiencing great sadness in the loss of Kenny Mac. This man new the true meaning of our league motto "KIDS FIRST" .   There were times when Ken and I went head to head in league meetings.... but when all was said and done, KIDS FIRST brought us back to what we knew was the right thing to do.

People are wondering what the Pontiac Panthers will do without the heart and soul of the team. They will survive, move on and carry the spirit of helping kids.

Kenny Mac, I hope God looks out for you like you looked out for the kids. There will be an emptiness when Pontiac and Clarkston clash. We will never stop missing you.

Auburn Hills Makos

I would like to commend the League on passing the new "X-Man" rule. Finally, we are rewarding the big boys for thier hard work by giving them the ability to play with kids their age.

Next season, maybe we can bridge the gap and raise our weight limits!

Good luck to all franchises, but especially the boys (& girls) in BLUE & SILVER from Auburn Hills!

GO MAKOS!

Congratulations to everyone on a great 2008 season. Special thanks go out to the Brandon Jr. Blackhawks, Al Manfroni, Marsha Manfroni and Jimmy McAurther. You guys put on a great Mega-Cheer and Super Bowl. We all need a good long break, however......I cannot wait until next year.

What a great 2008 season we had. Huge turnaround from last year. I want to congratulate all the kids on my team for giving 100% all season long. I also want to thank my asst. coaches and team mom. 6-3 is a great record and everyone should be proud! As a organization we're on the right track. I can't       wait until next year. GO MAKOS!!

Another season begins for the NYFL. Our 4th season and still going strong. I have a positive feeling about this season and I am looking forward to seeing some GREAT football out there. And, lest we not forget our cheer squads - they work just as hard and deserve their time to shine.
Let's all remember that we are here for the kids and to have FUN! That goes for our coaches, parents and players - have a good time out there no matter what.
Enjoy the season and I will be seeing you out there.
