Little League fall softball games are played on the weekend (Saturday) beginning September 12, 2009.  During the week, Ponytail coach-pitch players ages 7-8 (6 years old with one year of T-Ball) and player-pitch for 9-10, 11-12, 13-16 year-olds participate in one weeknight age group skills clinic with 5 Star Athletics© women pro and college softball instructors.  Skills clinics will begin during the week of August 31, 2009.

The Clinic schedule is as follows: 

Monday - Majors (11-12)

Tuesday - Seniors (13-16)

Thursday - Minors (9-10)

Friday - Ponytail (7-8)

All Clinics start promptly at 5:30 PM at Sunderland Elementary School Ball Fields.  (Clinics end at 7:00 PM)

Registration fee is $95. After the first child registered in the family, each additional child in the family registered is $85.  Fee pays for uniforms, umpires, clinics with 5 Star Athletics© college and pro coaches and equipment.  Registration fee for the General Skills Clinic Only is $45. 

Who is eligible to play? All girls Little League ages 6-16 (as of 12/31/2008) are eligible.

SOFTBALL BUDDIES REGISTRATION

To encourage girls of all ages to try softball, 2 friends may register together as buddies for NCLL softball and be ensured of playing on the same team. A pair of buddies may be made up of 2 children who did not play Little League Softball the year before, or it may include 1 player who did play the year before and 1 who did not.
