Welcome to the Northern Utah Vikings Website!!!
Hello everyone,
Welcome to the 3rd year of the Northern Utah Vikings indoor arena team. We are excited about this year as we are every year but what is most exciting is the new additions we have made not only to the management staff but also in the new V.S.E. Dance and Drill team with Alexz Matthews heading up the operation. Dancing since the age of 6 she has competed in all types of dance not only locally but nationally as well. I send out a personal thank you to Alex and we are glad to have her aboard. We also would like to welcome to the management staff coach Dan Lopaz and Trudy Thomas (Football Operations Administrator).. Joining forces with current coaches Max Thomas (Head of Football Operations for Viking Sports Entertainment Group), Assistant Head Coach Marc Dow and OL/DL Coach Joel Laursen. Trudy was instrumental tothe success of theAvalanche , our sister team.Some of the coaches have been busy this year attending clinics and working along side each other to make this year another year to be reckoned with.
We invite all interested athletes who would like to become part of our organization to attend one of our upcoming tryouts. The first being August 4th and the second is tentative and will be announced soon. We have maintained relationships with Wired Energy Drinks and EAS Supplements with other sponsors in the works for this years season. Other games are being scheduled with the first being a 1 day tournament in Bakersfield with each team playing a minimum of 4 games each an hour long. This tournament is sponsored by the Bakersfield Panthers and should be a great time for everyone. We have several others in the works but nothing finalized but the tournament. We look to have a great time this year and hope to count this year as a great experience for everyone. Hope to see you on the 4th. We are working on getting the tryouts indoors. This all dependent on availability. We are tentativly targeting Vae View Park for scheduling purposes. We will communicate if that location changes. Also, we wanted to let you know that the $10 fee is to help raise money for the team.
