Northeast Seattle Doublecrosse Girls Lacrosse Club: Welcome

Welcome to the 2013 season for Doublecrosse Lacrosse!

Northeast Seattle Doublecrosse Girls Lacrosse Club is a youth lacrosse club serving girls youth players who live east of I-5 in Seattle. Doublecrosse has teams at four age groups: 2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade.

About our club: At Doublecrosse, we emphasize learning fundamental lacrosse skills, being part of a team, being a program that the lacrosse community respects and admires and creating an atmosphere where teamwork and sportsmanship are valued above all. We encourage learning in a supportive environment where individual effort is affirmed and mistakes are recognized as the foundation of mastery. We teach players to respect the rules, opponents, officials, teammates and themselves. We expect players to give their full effort in both practices and games. Parents have a positive influence by being supportive and respectful to the players, coaches, referees and the opponent. Parents will model excellent sideline behavior.

The spring 2013 season: The season begins Feb 25th and runs through early June. Practices for the 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8 teams are twice a week with games on weekends. The 2nd grade team has a more brief season that runs for April and May. Our teams will be using both turf and grass fields at Magnuson Park for all our practices and home games.

Pre-season Umpire training jamboree: March 16/17.

Regular season games begin March 23rd.

End of season jamboree: likely June 1/2.

Registration: Registration opened Oct 28 for returning players and Dec 1 for new players. We will continue to register girls for each age group until teams are full. All our teams are full for the 2013 except our 2nd grade team. Please contact us at the address below if you would like to be added to our waitlist. Waitlisted players who we are unable to accommodate this year will be given priority to register for the 2014 season.

Please contact us at the email address below if you would like to receive registration information. You can also access registration forms on this web site under the Registration forms tab. Be sure to read the parent information letter and How to Register pages.
