RECYCLE USED EQUIPMENT

I don’t know about you, but I have quite a bit of baseball and softball equipment, that my children have outgrown.  I think to myself, “What a waste”.

I came up with an idea.

I would like to give families in Northborough the opportunity to bring their gently used, equipment to Memorial Field on Opening Day (Sat, May 3, between the hours of 9a.m. and 3 p.m..

You can donate your items and take a look around to see if there is anything you could use for this season.  Or you could simply just drop off items that would be useful to others.

The following items will be accepted:

Bats

Gloves

Helmets

Baseball Pants (Un-stained)

Batting Gloves (Un-ripped)

Bat Bags

The idea of this swap is to help our own community as well as reach out to other communities.  I, myself, always feel better if another child is able to use these items.  I feel that our kids grow out of things so quickly that items don’t get a chance to wear out.

I am in the process of speaking with a couple of organizations that will help us find the perfect avenue for our donations.

If you have any questions and or you would like to help me with this effort.  Please contact me at 508-393-1230 or email me at sharonaevans@hotmail.com.

Thank You NBA Sponsors!!

The Northborough Baseball Association (NBA) relies on the support and the generosity of several local businesses and individuals each year. Their financial commitment is critical to the development and enjoyment of more than 500 baseball players. In the Sponsors section of the web site you will see a listing of this year's NBA sponsors. Let's show our appreciation and our thanks to each of these sponsors by patronizing their businesses whenever we can. Thank you NBA sponsors!!
