2011: Ben quietly had a successful first full season on the varsity… led the team with seven sacrifices, which ties him for No. 1 on the all-time season list and No. 5 on the all-time career list… posted the fourth-highest batting average (.342)… tied for the second-most doubles with seven while playing a solid second base… in the conference, led the team with four sacrifices… best offensive game came in the 13-9 win over Mason County Central when he had a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs… on the mound, finished with a 1-1 record in 16.67 innings… lone win was an 8-3 victory over Mason County Central when he tossed three innings of shutout relief while striking out five… was honorable mention All-Area.
2010: Ben only saw varsity playing time in four games… on JV, batted .361 (22-for-61) with 21 RBI… led the team with 18 walks and six hit by pitches… on the mound, went 3-1 in 22 innings…
2009: Ben was 10-for-39 (.256) as a freshman on JV… led the team with 21 1/3 innings pitched while going 3-1… struck out a team-high 21 batters…
