North Muskegon Norsemen: My Site News
Friday, September 2575th Anniversary of Norsemen Baseball
Just a heads up for everyone involved with North Muskegon baseball. The 2010 year will be the 75th season of Norsemen baseball. I am in the process of coordinating events to celebrate this milestone.
Some ideas bouncing around my head are the following: 75-cent food at the concession stand, an alumni game or alumni weekend (game, dinner, golf), possibly retiring a number of a former player, inviting back coaches and players to be recognized and much, much more. These are only brainstorming ideas at this point.
I would like to go all out for this. I see this as a money-maker for the baseball program. We could sell T-shirts with a 75th Anniversary logo. I also would like to put together a special commemorative program. I have information from the previous 74 seasons.
If you have ideas or would be willing to help coordinating/organizing some of these, please email me.

Be students first
Potential players, there is no excuse for failure in the classroom. The operative word in student-athlete is "student." If you fail in the classroom, you are no good to your teammates because you will not be participating. Academics comes first.
